- The Lord is with you when you are with him. If you seek him, he will be found by you, but if you forsake him, he will forsake you.
- For the Lord himself will come down from heaven, with a loud command, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet call of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first. After that, we who are still alive and are left will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And so we will be with the Lord forever.

listen to my cry for mercy;
in your faithfulness and righteousness
come to my relief. - Do not be yoked together with unbelievers. For what do righteousness and wickedness have in common? Or what fellowship can light have with darkness?
- And a voice from heaven said, “This is my Son, whom I love; with him I am well pleased.”
- Walk with the wise and become wise,
for a companion of fools suffers harm. - Create in me a pure heart, O God,
and renew a steadfast spirit within me. - Search me, God, and know my heart;
test me and know my anxious thoughts.
See if there is any offensive way in me,
and lead me in the way everlasting. - I sought the Lord, and he answered me;
he delivered me from all my fears. - Do you think I cannot call on my Father, and he will at once put at my disposal more than twelve legions of angels?
- Blessed are those who keep his statutes
and seek him with all their heart. - If it is possible, as far as it depends on you, live at peace with everyone.
- Just as the living Father sent me and I live because of the Father, so the one who feeds on me will live because of me.
“Don’t be alarmed,” he said. “You are looking for Jesus the Nazarene, who was crucified. He has risen! He is not here.
