Chinese (traditional)- Likewise the Spirit helps us in our weakness; for we do not know how to pray as we ought, but that very Spirit intercedes with sighs too deep for words.
- See that none of you repays evil for evil, but always seek to do good to one another and to all.
- For from him and through him and to him are all things. To him be the glory forever. Amen.
- Lead me in your truth, and teach me,
for you are the God of my salvation;
for you I wait all day long. - For the Son of Man came to seek out and to save the lost.
- I wait for the Lord, my soul waits,
and in his word I hope. - I do not nullify the grace of God; for if justification comes through the law, then Christ died for nothing.
- For to this you have been called, because Christ also suffered for you, leaving you an example, so that you should follow in his steps.
- For ‘In him we live and move and have our being’; as even some of your own poets have said,
‘For we too are his offspring.’ - We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, who are called according to his purpose.
- For sin will have no dominion over you, since you are not under law but under grace.
- Let me hear of your steadfast love in the morning,
for in you I put my trust.
Teach me the way I should go,
for to you I lift up my soul. - Only fear the Lord, and serve him faithfully with all your heart; for consider what great things he has done for you.
- Jesus looked at them and said, “For mortals it is impossible, but not for God; for God all things are possible.”
- Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called children of God.
- Then he took a cup, and after giving thanks he gave it to them, saying, “Drink from it, all of you; for this is my blood of the covenant, which is poured out for many for the forgiveness of sins.”
- For I know that through your prayers and the help of the Spirit of Jesus Christ this will turn out for my deliverance.
- But he was wounded for our transgressions,
crushed for our iniquities;
upon him was the punishment that made us whole,
and by his bruises we are healed. - Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
- For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.
- I shall walk at liberty,
for I have sought your precepts. - But I say to you, Do not swear at all, either by heaven, for it is the throne of God, or by the earth, for it is his footstool, or by Jerusalem, for it is the city of the great King.
- For who is God, but the Lord?
And who is a rock, except our God? - For, while physical training is of some value, godliness is valuable in every way, holding promise for both the present life and the life to come.
- Do not repay evil for evil or abuse for abuse; but, on the contrary, repay with a blessing. It is for this that you were called—that you might inherit a blessing.
Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.But he said to them, “Do not be alarmed; you are looking for Jesus of Nazareth, who was crucified. He has been raised; he is not here. Look, there is the place they laid him.” Since we have these promises, beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from every defilement of body and of spirit, making holiness perfect in the fear of God.Next verse!With image
