Bible Verses about 'Fornication'
- But among you there must not be even a hint of sexual immorality, or of any kind of impurity, or of greed, because these are improper for God’s holy people.
- Flee from sexual immorality. All other sins a person commits are outside the body, but whoever sins sexually, sins against their own body.
- Put to death, therefore, whatever belongs to your earthly nature: sexual immorality, impurity, lust, evil desires and greed, which is idolatry.
- The acts of the flesh are obvious: sexual immorality, impurity and debauchery; idolatry and witchcraft; hatred, discord, jealousy, fits of rage, selfish ambition, dissensions, factions and envy; drunkenness, orgies, and the like. I warn you, as I did before, that those who live like this will not inherit the kingdom of God.
- But since sexual immorality is occurring, each man should have sexual relations with his own wife, and each woman with her own husband.
- It is God’s will that you should be sanctified: that you should avoid sexual immorality; that each of you should learn to control your own body in a way that is holy and honorable, not in passionate lust like the pagans, who do not know God.
- He went on: “What comes out of a person is what defiles them. For it is from within, out of a person’s heart, that evil thoughts come—sexual immorality, theft, murder, adultery, greed, malice, deceit, lewdness, envy, slander, arrogance and folly. All these evils come from inside and defile a person.”
- And forgive us our debts,
as we also have forgiven our debtors. - Bear with each other and forgive one another if any of you has a grievance against someone. Forgive as the Lord forgave you.
- But if you do not forgive others their sins, your Father will not forgive your sins.
- Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you.
- For if you forgive other people when they sin against you, your heavenly Father will also forgive you.
- And so I tell you, every kind of sin and slander can be forgiven, but blasphemy against the Spirit will not be forgiven.
- Do not judge, and you will not be judged. Do not condemn, and you will not be condemned. Forgive, and you will be forgiven.
- You, Lord, are forgiving and good,
abounding in love to all who call to you. - Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever.
- And when you stand praying, if you hold anything against anyone, forgive them, so that your Father in heaven may forgive you your sins.
- The Lord is with you when you are with him. If you seek him, he will be found by you, but if you forsake him, he will forsake you.
- The name of the Lord is a fortified tower;
the righteous run to it and are safe. - Truly he is my rock and my salvation;
he is my fortress, I will not be shaken. - Anyone who withholds kindness from a friend
forsakes the fear of the Almighty. - Blessed is the one
whose transgressions are forgiven,
whose sins are covered. - Truly he is my rock and my salvation;
he is my fortress, I will never be shaken. - Since you are my rock and my fortress,
for the sake of your name lead and guide me. - Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good;
his love endures forever. - Who is a God like you,
who pardons sin and forgives the transgression
of the remnant of his inheritance?

but delight to show mercy. - The wealth of the rich is their fortified city;
they imagine it a wall too high to scale. - All the prophets testify about him that everyone who believes in him receives forgiveness of sins through his name.
- Your statutes are my heritage forever;
they are the joy of my heart. - In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, in accordance with the riches of God’s grace.
- What good is it for someone to gain the whole world, yet forfeit their soul?
- Anyone who speaks a word against the Son of Man will be forgiven, but anyone who speaks against the Holy Spirit will not be forgiven, either in this age or in the age to come.
- For I will forgive their wickedness
and will remember their sins no more. - Those who know your name trust in you,
for you, Lord, have never forsaken those who seek you. - Surely the righteous will never be shaken;
they will be remembered forever. - Arise, Lord! Lift up your hand, O God.
Do not forget the helpless. - Diligent hands will rule,
but laziness ends in forced labor. - For by one sacrifice he has made perfect forever those who are being made holy.

and have no compassion on the child she has borne?

I will not forget you!

your walls are ever before me. - You, Lord, reign forever;
your throne endures from generation to generation. - The grass withers and the flowers fall,
but the word of our God endures forever. - For from him and through him and for him are all things.

for by them you have preserved my life. - The Lord will keep you from all harm—
he will watch over your life;
the Lord will watch over your coming and going
both now and forevermore. - My flesh and my heart may fail,
but God is the strength of my heart
and my portion forever. - The Lord watches over the foreigner
and sustains the fatherless and the widow,
but he frustrates the ways of the wicked. - Get wisdom, get understanding;
do not forget my words or turn away from them.
