From (4/4)

  • He that turneth away his ear from hearing the law,
    even his prayer shall be abomination.
  • And he said, That which cometh out of the man, that defileth the man. For from within, out of the heart of men, proceed evil thoughts, adulteries, fornications, murders, Thefts, covetousness, wickedness, deceit, lasciviousness, an evil eye, blasphemy, pride, foolishness: All these evil things come from within, and defile the man.
  • But now being made free from sin, and become servants to God, ye have your fruit unto holiness, and the end everlasting life.
  • And the Lord God said, Behold, the man is become as one of us, to know good and evil: and now, lest he put forth his hand, and take also of the tree of life, and eat, and live for ever: Therefore the Lord God sent him forth from the garden of Eden, to till the ground from whence he was taken.
  • Before the mountains were brought forth,
    or ever thou hadst formed the earth and the world,
    even from everlasting to everlasting, thou art God.

  • Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?
  • Until the spirit be poured upon us from on high,
    and the wilderness be a fruitful field,
    and the fruitful field be counted for a forest.

  • O my soul, thou hast said unto the Lord, Thou art my Lord:
    my goodness extendeth not to thee.
  • Be not wise in thine own eyes:
    fear the Lord, and depart from evil.
    It shall be health to thy navel,
    and marrow to thy bones.
  • For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled.
  • Ye shall not add unto the word which I command you, neither shall ye diminish ought from it, that ye may keep the commandments of the Lord your God which I command you.

  • My son, attend to my words;
    incline thine ear unto my sayings.
    Let them not depart from thine eyes;
    keep them in the midst of thine heart.
