Do I take any pleasure in the death of the wicked? declares the Sovereign Lord. Rather, am I not pleased when they turn from their ways and live?Have I any pleasure at all that the wicked should die? saith the Lord God: and not that he should return from his ways, and live?
See to it, brothers and sisters, that none of you has a sinful, unbelieving heart that turns away from the living God.Take heed, brethren, lest there be in any of you an evil heart of unbelief, in departing from the living God.
If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
Who has done this and carried it through, calling forth the generations from the beginning? I, the Lord—with the first of them and with the last—I am he.Who hath wrought and done it, calling the generations from the beginning? I the Lord, the first, and with the last; I am he.
Finally the other disciple, who had reached the tomb first, also went inside. He saw and believed. (They still did not understand from Scripture that Jesus had to rise from the dead.)Then went in also that other disciple, which came first to the sepulchre, and he saw, and believed. For as yet they knew not the scripture, that he must rise again from the dead.
Till the Spirit is poured on us from on high, and the desert becomes a fertile field, and the fertile field seems like a forest.Until the spirit be poured upon us from on high, and the wilderness be a fruitful field, and the fruitful field be counted for a forest.
Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall trouble or hardship or persecution or famine or nakedness or danger or sword?Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?
But now that you have been set free from sin and have become slaves of God, the benefit you reap leads to holiness, and the result is eternal life. But now being made free from sin, and become servants to God, ye have your fruit unto holiness, and the end everlasting life.
The Lord will rescue me from every evil attack and will bring me safely to his heavenly kingdom. To him be glory for ever and ever. Amen. And the Lord shall deliver me from every evil work, and will preserve me unto his heavenly kingdom: to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen.
Who gave himself for us to redeem us from all wickedness and to purify for himself a people that are his very own, eager to do what is good.Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works.
Above all else, guard your heart, for everything you do flows from it.Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life.
Everyone comes naked from their mother’s womb, and as everyone comes, so they depart. They take nothing from their toil that they can carry in their hands. As he came forth of his mother's womb, naked shall he return to go as he came, and shall take nothing of his labour, which he may carry away in his hand.
This is the message we have heard from him and declare to you: God is light; in him there is no darkness at all. This then is the message which we have heard of him, and declare unto you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all.
For no word from God will ever fail. For with God nothing shall be impossible.
And we all, who with unveiled faces contemplate the Lord’s glory, are being transformed into his image with ever-increasing glory, which comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit. But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord.
Consequently, faith comes from hearing the message, and the message is heard through the word about Christ. So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.
Do not add to what I command you and do not subtract from it, but keep the commands of the Lord your God that I give you.Ye shall not add unto the word which I command you, neither shall ye diminish ought from it, that ye may keep the commandments of the Lord your God which I command you.
Therefore, my friends, I want you to know that through Jesus the forgiveness of sins is proclaimed to you. Through him everyone who believes is set free from every sin, a justification you were not able to obtain under the law of Moses.Be it known unto you therefore, men and brethren, that through this man is preached unto you the forgiveness of sins: And by him all that believe are justified from all things, from which ye could not be justified by the law of Moses.
And he is the head of the body, the church; he is the beginning and the firstborn from among the dead, so that in everything he might have the supremacy. And he is the head of the body, the church: who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all things he might have the preeminence.
But if from there you seek the Lord your God, you will find him if you seek him with all your heart and with all your soul. But if from thence thou shalt seek the Lord thy God, thou shalt find him, if thou seek him with all thy heart and with all thy soul.
But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus, his Son, purifies us from all sin.But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.
For from him and through him and for him are all things. To him be the glory forever! Amen. For of him, and through him, and to him, are all things: to whom be glory for ever. Amen.
But who am I, and who are my people, that we should be able to give as generously as this? Everything comes from you, and we have given you only what comes from your hand. But who am I, and what is my people, that we should be able to offer so willingly after this sort? for all things come of thee, and of thine own have we given thee.
And he has given us this command: Anyone who loves God must also love their brother and sister. And this commandment have we from him, That he who loveth God love his brother also.
From the Lord comes deliverance. May your blessing be on your people.Salvation belongeth unto the Lord: thy blessing is upon thy people. Selah.
