| But you, Bethlehem Ephrathah, though you are small among the clans of Judah, out of you will come for me one who will be ruler over Israel, whose origins are from of old, from ancient times. | But you, Bethlehem Ephrathah, Though you are little among the thousands of Judah, Yet out of you shall come forth to Me The One to be Ruler in Israel, Whose goings forth are from of old, From everlasting. |
| For those who find me find life and receive favor from the Lord. | For whoever finds me finds life, And obtains favor from the Lord. |

| Wealth is worthless in the day of wrath, but righteousness delivers from death. | Riches do not profit in the day of wrath, But righteousness delivers from death. |
| Get wisdom, get understanding; do not forget my words or turn away from them. | Get wisdom! Get understanding! Do not forget, nor turn away from the words of my mouth. |
| And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one. | And do not lead us into temptation, But deliver us from the evil one. For Yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen. |

| All this also comes from the Lord Almighty, whose plan is wonderful, whose wisdom is magnificent. | This also comes from the Lord of hosts, Who is wonderful in counsel and excellent in guidance. |
