Above all, you must realize that no prophecy in Scripture ever came from the prophet’s own understanding, or from human initiative. No, those prophets were moved by the Holy Spirit, and they spoke from God. 2 Peter 1:20-21	For prophecy never came by the will of man, but holy men of God spoke as they were moved by the Holy Spirit. prophecy Spirit speaking
Just say a simple, ‘Yes, I will,’ or ‘No, I won’t.’ Anything beyond this is from the evil one. Matthew 5:37	But let your ‘Yes’ be ‘Yes,’ and your ‘No,’ ‘No.’ For whatever is more than these is from the evil one. reliability evil speaking

The Lord of Heaven’s Armies is a wonderful teacher, and he gives the farmer great wisdom. Isaiah 28:29	This also comes from the Lord of hosts, Who is wonderful in counsel and excellent in guidance. God planning wisdom
But now you are free from the power of sin and have become slaves of God. Now you do those things that lead to holiness and result in eternal life. He gave his life to free us from every kind of sin, to cleanse us, and to make us his very own people, totally committed to doing good deeds. Titus 2:14	Who gave Himself for us, that He might redeem us from every lawless deed and purify for Himself His own special people, zealous for good works. sacrifice purification goodness
Yes, and the Lord will deliver me from every evil attack and will bring me safely into his heavenly Kingdom. All glory to God forever and ever! Until at last the Spirit is poured out on us from heaven. Then the wilderness will become a fertile field, and the fertile field will yield bountiful crops. But we are citizens of heaven, where the Lord Jesus Christ lives. And we are eagerly waiting for him to return as our Savior. Philippians 3:20	For our citizenship is in heaven, from which we also eagerly wait for the Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ. salvation Jesus heaven
And he has given us this command: Those who love God must also love their fellow believers. 1 John 4:21	And this commandment we have from Him: that he who loves God must love his brother also. law love friendship
Can anything ever separate us from Christ’s love? Does it mean he no longer loves us if we have trouble or calamity, or are persecuted, or hungry, or destitute, or in danger, or threatened with death? Romans 8:35	Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? love suffering persecution
Christ is also the head of the church, which is his body. He is the beginning, supreme over all who rise from the dead. So he is first in everything. Colossians 1:18	And He is the head of the body, the church, who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead, that in all things He may have the preeminence. church Jesus resurrection
But we have sinned and done wrong. We have rebelled against you and scorned your commands and regulations. Daniel 9:5	We have sinned and committed iniquity, we have done wickedly and rebelled, even by departing from Your precepts and Your judgments. sin confession law
But from there you will search again for the Lord your God. And if you search for him with all your heart and soul, you will find him. Deuteronomy 4:29	But from there you will seek the Lord your God, and you will find Him if you seek Him with all your heart and with all your soul. God reward soul
Do not add to or subtract from these commands I am giving you. Just obey the commands of the Lord your God that I am giving you. But if we are living in the light, as God is in the light, then we have fellowship with each other, and the blood of Jesus, his Son, cleanses us from all sin. 1 John 1:7	But if we walk in the light as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses us from all sin. purification sacrifice community
Don’t be like your ancestors who would not listen or pay attention when the earlier prophets said to them, ‘This is what the Lord of Heaven’s Armies says: Turn from your evil ways, and stop all your evil practices.’ Zechariah 1:4	“Do not be like your fathers, to whom the former prophets preached, saying, ‘Thus says the Lord of hosts: “Turn now from your evil ways and your evil deeds.” ’ But they did not hear nor heed Me,” says the Lord. conversion evil listening

Wealth from get-rich-quick schemes quickly disappears; wealth from hard work grows over time. Proverbs 13:11	Wealth gained by dishonesty will be diminished, But he who gathers by labor will increase. money greed work
First, help me never to tell a lie. Second, give me neither poverty nor riches! Give me just enough to satisfy my needs. Proverbs 30:8	Remove falsehood and lies far from me; Give me neither poverty nor riches— Feed me with the food allotted to me. materialism food money
So all of us who have had that veil removed can see and reflect the glory of the Lord. And the Lord—who is the Spirit—makes us more and more like him as we are changed into his glorious image. 2 Corinthians 3:18	But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as by the Spirit of the Lord. Wash yourselves and be clean! Get your sins out of my sight. Give up your evil ways. Isaiah 1:16	Wash yourselves, make yourselves clean; Put away the evil of your doings from before My eyes. Cease to do evil. sin purification evil
But who am I, and who are my people, that we could give anything to you? Brothers, listen! We are here to proclaim that through this man Jesus there is forgiveness for your sins. Everyone who believes in him is made right in God’s sight—something the law of Moses could never do.
