| For the flesh desires what is contrary to the Spirit, and the Spirit what is contrary to the flesh. They are in conflict with each other, so that you are not to do whatever you want. | For the flesh lusts against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh; and these are contrary to one another, that you may not do the things that you desire. |

| Brothers and sisters, if someone is caught in a sin, you who live by the Spirit should restore that person gently. | Those who are in the realm of the flesh cannot please God. | Those who are in the flesh can’t please God. |
| The Lord makes firm the steps of the one who delights in him. | A man’s steps are established by Yahweh. He delights in his way. |
| For, “Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.” | For, “Whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved.” |
| Our help is in the name of the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth. | Our help is in Yahweh’s name, who made heaven and earth. |
