- If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

For You have made known to us the king’s demand. - Now he who keeps His commandments abides in Him, and He in him. And by this we know that He abides in us, by the Spirit whom He has given us.
- Now He who searches the hearts knows what the mind of the Spirit is, because He makes intercession for the saints according to the will of God.
- Therefore let us not sleep, as others do, but let us watch and be sober.
- Let us search out and examine our ways,
And turn back to the Lord. - For the earnest expectation of the creation eagerly waits for the revealing of the sons of God.
- If anyone defiles the temple of God, God will destroy him. For the temple of God is holy, which temple you are.
- For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God to salvation for everyone who believes, for the Jew first and also for the Greek.
- For the grace of God that brings salvation has appeared to all men, teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly in the present age.
- O God, You are my God;
Early will I seek You;
My soul thirsts for You;
My flesh longs for You
In a dry and thirsty land
Where there is no water. - And let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart.
- As His divine power has given to us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of Him who called us by glory and virtue.
- Blessed are the peacemakers,
For they shall be called sons of God. - So we fasted and entreated our God for this, and He answered our prayer.
- So teach us to number our days,
That we may gain a heart of wisdom. - But Jesus looked at them and said, “With men it is impossible, but not with God; for with God all things are possible.”
- For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.
- There remains therefore a rest for the people of God. For he who has entered His rest has himself also ceased from his works as God did from His.
- Whoever confesses that Jesus is the Son of God, God abides in him, and he in God.
