Bible Verses about 'Giving to the needy'
- Whatever you do in word or deed, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks through Him to God the Father.
- Open your mouth, judge righteously,
And defend the rights of the poor and needy. - So you shall keep His statutes and His commandments which I am giving you today, so that it may go well for you and for your children after you, and that you may live long on the land which the Lord your God is giving you for all time.

And let’s return to the Lord. - Salvation belongs to the Lord;
May Your blessing be upon Your people! Selah - For this is what the Lord says to the house of Israel:
“Seek Me so that you may live.” - The unfolding of Your words gives light;
It gives understanding to the simple. - The wicked borrows and does not pay back,
But the righteous is gracious and gives. - Give thanks to the Lord, call upon His name;
Make His deeds known among the peoples. - The way of the Lord is a stronghold for the upright,
But ruin to the workers of injustice. - And heal those in it who are sick, and say to them, ‘The kingdom of God has come near to you.’
- Jesus said to him, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father except through Me.”
- I will give thanks to the Lord with all my heart;
I will tell of all Your wonders. - For though we walk in the flesh, we do not wage battle according to the flesh.
- Give thanks to the Lord, for He is good;
For His faithfulness is everlasting. - For You have put us to the test, God;
You have refined us as silver is refined. - May the Lord direct your hearts to the love of God and to the perseverance of Christ.

And blessed is one who trusts in the Lord. - I came forth from the Father and have come into the world; again, I am leaving the world and going to the Father.
- Now to the King eternal, immortal, invisible, the only God, be honor and glory forever and ever. Amen.
- So when you give to the poor, do not sound a trumpet before you, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and on the streets, so that they will be praised by people. Truly I say to you, they have their reward in full.
- For God did not send the Son into the world to judge the world, but so that the world might be saved through Him.
- But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name.
- Jesus answered and said to them, “This is the work of God, that you believe in Him whom He has sent.”
- They were continually devoting themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer.
- Let’s hold firmly to the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful.
- The Lord will send His goodness in the daytime;
And His song will be with me in the night,
A prayer to the God of my life.
