I and the Father are one. - Jesus replied,
“I am the way, and the truth, and the life.
No one comes to the Father
except through me.” - You are from your father, the devil,
and you choose to carry out your father’s desires.
He was a murderer from the beginning,
and he does not abide by the truth,
for there is no truth in him.
When he lies,
he speaks in accord with his own nature,
for he is a liar
and the father of lies. - Fear not, little flock, for your Father has chosen to give you the kingdom.
- But when you fast, put oil on your head and wash your face, so that the fact that you are fasting will not be obvious to others but only to your Father who is hidden. And your Father who sees everything that is done in secret will reward you.

For the Lord disciplines those whom he loves,

- See what love
the Father has bestowed on us,
enabling us to be called the children of God,
and that is what we are.
If the world does not recognize us,
that is because it did not know him. - Sing to God, sing praise to his name;
exalt him who rides upon the clouds.
Rejoice in the presence of this God
whose name is the Lord.
The Father of orphans and the defender of widows:
such is God in his holy dwelling place. - Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. In his great mercy he has given us a new birth to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead.
- Do you suppose that I cannot appeal to my Father for help and he will not immediately send me more than twelve legions of angels?
- Do not love the world
or what is in the world.
If anyone does love the world,
the love of the Father is not in him.
