- For I have no pleasure in the death of anyone, says the Lord God. Turn, then, and live.
- Deceit is in the mind of those who plan evil,
but those who counsel peace have joy. - By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another.
- You want something and do not have it; so you commit murder. And you covet something and cannot obtain it; so you engage in disputes and conflicts. You do not have, because you do not ask.
- I want their hearts to be encouraged and united in love, so that they may have all the riches of assured understanding and have the knowledge of God's mystery, that is, Christ himself.
- If you know me, you will know my Father also. From now on you do know him and have seen him.

And there is nothing on earth that I desire other than you. - My lips will shout for joy
when I sing praises to you;
my soul also, which you have rescued. - For this is the message you have heard from the beginning, that we should love one another.
- I will sing to the Lord as long as I live;
I will sing praise to my God while I have being. - For we have become partners of Christ, if only we hold our first confidence firm to the end.
- So if I, your Lord and Teacher, have washed your feet, you also ought to wash one another's feet.
- Keep my steps steady according to your promise,
and never let iniquity have dominion over me. - And now why do you delay? Get up, be baptized, and have your sins washed away, calling on his name.
- I have said these things to you so that my joy may be in you, and that your joy may be complete.
- Be on your guard, so that you do not lose what we have worked for, but may receive a full reward.
- Therefore, since we are justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ.
- When you realize your guilt in any of these, you shall confess the sin that you have committed.
- What then should we say? That the law is sin? By no means! Yet, if it had not been for the law, I would not have known sin. I would not have known what it is to covet if the law had not said, “You shall not covet.”
- I have set my bow in the clouds, and it shall be a sign of the covenant between me and the earth.
- And this is the boldness we have in him, that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us.
- In everything do to others as you would have them do to you; for this is the law and the prophets.
- But now in Christ Jesus you who once were far off have been brought near by the blood of Christ.
- So I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.
- And this is eternal life, that they may know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom you have sent.
