- Let the wicked forsake his way,
and the unrighteous man his thoughts.
Let him return to Yahweh, and he will have mercy on him,
to our God, for he will freely pardon. - Every word of God is flawless.
He is a shield to those who take refuge in him. - But as for me, I know that my Redeemer lives.
In the end, he will stand upon the earth. - Jesus, crying with a loud voice, said, “Father, into your hands I commit my spirit!” Having said this, he breathed his last.

He was despised as one from whom men hide their face;

- Jesus answered them, “This is the work of God, that you believe in him whom he has sent.”
- He has made everything beautiful in its time. He has also set eternity in their hearts, yet so that man can’t find out the work that God has done from the beginning even to the end.
- Who is this King of glory?
Yahweh of Armies is the King of glory! Selah. - I am the true vine, and my Father is the farmer. Every branch in me that doesn’t bear fruit, he takes away. Every branch that bears fruit, he prunes, that it may bear more fruit.

- As far as the east is from the west,
so far has he removed our transgressions from us. - A man’s steps are established by Yahweh.
He delights in his way. - Jesus, full of the Holy Spirit, returned from the Jordan and was led by the Spirit into the wilderness for forty days, being tempted by the devil. He ate nothing in those days. Afterward, when they were completed, he was hungry.
- Having been made perfect, he became to all of those who obey him the author of eternal salvation.
- In Hades, he lifted up his eyes, being in torment, and saw Abraham far off, and Lazarus at his bosom. He cried and said, ‘Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus, that he may dip the tip of his finger in water and cool my tongue! For I am in anguish in this flame.’
- So then the Lord, after he had spoken to them, was received up into heaven and sat down at the right hand of God.
- Yahweh is good, a stronghold in the day of trouble; and he knows those who take refuge in him.
- For Yahweh is our judge.
Yahweh is our lawgiver.
Yahweh is our king.
He will save us. - He who gets wisdom loves his own soul.
He who keeps understanding shall find good. - He said to them, “Beware! Keep yourselves from covetousness, for a man’s life doesn’t consist of the abundance of the things which he possesses.”
- He who covers an offense promotes love;
but he who repeats a matter separates best friends. - Blessed is the nation whose God is Yahweh,
the people whom he has chosen for his own inheritance. - He said to them, “Come after me, and I will make you fishers for men.”
