I (2/4)

But I will offer sacrifices to you with songs of praise, and I will fulfill all my vows. For my salvation comes from the Lord alone. But I, with shouts of grateful praise, will sacrifice to you. What I have vowed I will make good. I will say, ‘Salvation comes from the Lord.’
Finally, I confessed all my sins to you and stopped trying to hide my guilt. I said to myself, “I will confess my rebellion to the Lord.” And you forgave me! All my guilt is gone. Then I acknowledged my sin to you and did not cover up my iniquity. I said, “I will confess my transgressions to the Lord.” And you forgave the guilt of my sin.
O Lord, if you heal me, I will be truly healed; if you save me, I will be truly saved. My praises are for you alone!Heal me, Lord, and I will be healed; save me and I will be saved, for you are the one I praise.
I will praise you, Lord, with all my heart; I will tell of all the marvelous things you have done.I will give thanks to you, Lord, with all my heart; I will tell of all your wonderful deeds.
That’s why I take pleasure in my weaknesses, and in the insults, hardships, persecutions, and troubles that I suffer for Christ. For when I am weak, then I am strong. That is why, for Christ’s sake, I delight in weaknesses, in insults, in hardships, in persecutions, in difficulties. For when I am weak, then I am strong.
I will thank you, Lord, among all the people. I will sing your praises among the nations.I will praise you, Lord, among the nations; I will sing of you among the peoples.
I have revealed you to them, and I will continue to do so. Then your love for me will be in them, and I will be in them.I have made you known to them, and will continue to make you known in order that the love you have for me may be in them and that I myself may be in them.
And I will forgive their wickedness, and I will never again remember their sins. For I will forgive their wickedness and will remember their sins no more.
But he knows where I am going. And when he tests me, I will come out as pure as gold. For I have stayed on God’s paths; I have followed his ways and not turned aside. But he knows the way that I take; when he has tested me, I will come forth as gold. My feet have closely followed his steps; I have kept to his way without turning aside.
He must become greater and greater, and I must become less and less.He must become greater; I must become less.
If I had the gift of prophecy, and if I understood all of God’s secret plans and possessed all knowledge, and if I had such faith that I could move mountains, but didn’t love others, I would be nothing. If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but do not have love, I am nothing.
For I cried out to him for help, praising him as I spoke.I cried out to him with my mouth; his praise was on my tongue.
But Jesus told them, “I will be with you only a little longer. Then I will return to the one who sent me.”Jesus said, “I am with you for only a short time, and then I am going to the one who sent me.”
I said to the Lord, “You are my Master! Every good thing I have comes from you.”I say to the Lord, “You are my Lord; apart from you I have no good thing.”
Obviously, I’m not trying to win the approval of people, but of God. If pleasing people were my goal, I would not be Christ’s servant.Am I now trying to win the approval of human beings, or of God? Or am I trying to please people? If I were still trying to please people, I would not be a servant of Christ.
Your unfailing love is better than life itself; how I praise you! I will praise you as long as I live, lifting up my hands to you in prayer.Because your love is better than life, my lips will glorify you. I will praise you as long as I live, and in your name I will lift up my hands.
Don’t imagine that I came to bring peace to the earth! I came not to bring peace, but a sword.Do not suppose that I have come to bring peace to the earth. I did not come to bring peace, but a sword.
As for me, I look to the Lord for help. I wait confidently for God to save me, and my God will certainly hear me.But as for me, I watch in hope for the Lord, I wait for God my Savior; my God will hear me.
Let me hear of your unfailing love each morning, for I am trusting you. Show me where to walk, for I give myself to you.Let the morning bring me word of your unfailing love, for I have put my trust in you. Show me the way I should go, for to you I entrust my life.
I love the Lord because he hears my voice and my prayer for mercy. Because he bends down to listen, I will pray as long as I have breath!I love the Lord, for he heard my voice; he heard my cry for mercy. Because he turned his ear to me, I will call on him as long as I live.

O Israel, my faithless people, come home to me again, for I am merciful. I will not be angry with you forever.‘Return, faithless Israel,’ declares the Lord, ‘I will frown on you no longer, for I am faithful,’ declares the Lord, ‘I will not be angry forever.’
