Chinese (traditional)- Whosoever denieth the Son, the same hath not the Father: he that acknowledgeth the Son hath the Father also.
- Ye have heard that it was said by them of old time, Thou shalt not commit adultery: But I say unto you, That whosoever looketh on a woman to lust after her hath committed adultery with her already in his heart.
- But he that glorieth, let him glory in the Lord. For not he that commendeth himself is approved, but whom the Lord commendeth.
- For if they fall, the one will lift up his fellow: but woe to him that is alone when he falleth; for he hath not another to help him up.
- If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed.
- For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith.
- If thy brother trespass against thee, rebuke him; and if he repent, forgive him. And if he trespass against thee seven times in a day, and seven times in a day turn again to thee, saying, I repent; thou shalt forgive him.
- For what is a man profited, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?
- Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone.
- My son, if thine heart be wise,
my heart shall rejoice, even mine. - For he that will love life, and see good days, let him refrain his tongue from evil, and his lips that they speak no guile: Let him eschew evil, and do good; let him seek peace, and ensue it.
- To him that is afflicted pity should be shewed from his friend;
but he forsaketh the fear of the Almighty. - He that eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, dwelleth in me, and I in him.
- If the world hate you, ye know that it hated me before it hated you.
- The Lord is with you, while ye be with him; and if ye seek him, he will be found of you; but if ye forsake him, he will forsake you.
- He that hideth hatred with lying lips,
and he that uttereth a slander, is a fool. - Moreover if thy brother shall trespass against thee, go and tell him his fault between thee and him alone: if he shall hear thee, thou hast gained thy brother.
- And who is he that will harm you, if ye be followers of that which is good?
- Blessed is the man that endureth temptation: for when he is tried, he shall receive the crown of life, which the Lord hath promised to them that love him.
- And he that taketh not his cross, and followeth after me, is not worthy of me.
- Thou shalt not hate thy brother in thine heart: thou shalt in any wise rebuke thy neighbour, and not suffer sin upon him. Thou shalt not avenge, nor bear any grudge against the children of thy people, but thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself: I am the Lord.
- Let no man despise thy youth; but be thou an example of the believers, in word, in conversation, in charity, in spirit, in faith, in purity.
- He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him.
- But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.
- What and if ye shall see the Son of man ascend up where he was before?
Be not deceived: evil communications corrupt good manners. Not that I speak in respect of want: for I have learned, in whatsoever state I am, therewith to be content. Being enriched in every thing to all bountifulness, which causeth through us thanksgiving to God.Next verse! With image
