- Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us.
- Therefore thou shalt keep the commandments of the Lord thy God, to walk in his ways, and to fear him.
- Behold, the eye of the Lord is upon them that fear him,
upon them that hope in his mercy. - But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ.
- And so it was, that, while they were there, the days were accomplished that she should be delivered. And she brought forth her firstborn son, and wrapped him in swaddling clothes, and laid him in a manger; because there was no room for them in the inn.
- He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things?
- Is any sick among you? let him call for the elders of the church; and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord: And the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up; and if he have committed sins, they shall be forgiven him.
- Seek ye the Lord while he may be found,
call ye upon him while he is near. - For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed.
- This poor man cried, and the Lord heard him,
and saved him out of all his troubles. - If thy brother trespass against thee, rebuke him; and if he repent, forgive him. And if he trespass against thee seven times in a day, and seven times in a day turn again to thee, saying, I repent; thou shalt forgive him.
- And whatsoever ye do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by him.
- What is man, that thou art mindful of him?
and the son of man, that thou visitest him? - For unto you it is given in the behalf of Christ, not only to believe on him, but also to suffer for his sake.
- A man's gift maketh room for him,
and bringeth him before great men. - Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name: That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth.
- Rest in the Lord, and wait patiently for him:
fret not thyself because of him who prospereth in his way,
because of the man who bringeth wicked devices to pass. - Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.
- But if from thence thou shalt seek the Lord thy God, thou shalt find him, if thou seek him with all thy heart and with all thy soul.
- Let not him that eateth despise him that eateth not; and let not him which eateth not judge him that eateth: for God hath received him.
- If we say that we have fellowship with him, and walk in darkness, we lie, and do not the truth.
- Then Peter opened his mouth, and said, Of a truth I perceive that God is no respecter of persons: But in every nation he that feareth him, and worketh righteousness, is accepted with him.
- And the Lord God said, It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him an help meet for him.
- Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us, Unto him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus throughout all ages, world without end. Amen.
- He revealeth the deep and secret things:
he knoweth what is in the darkness,
and the light dwelleth with him.
But grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and for ever. Amen.But when ye pray, use not vain repetitions, as the heathen do: for they think that they shall be heard for their much speaking. Let love be without dissimulation.
