- I have hidden your word in my heart,
that I might not sin against you. - For the whole law can be summed up in this one command: “Love your neighbor as yourself.”
- The Lord is a shelter for the oppressed,
a refuge in times of trouble. - Teach those who are rich in this world not to be proud and not to trust in their money, which is so unreliable. Their trust should be in God, who richly gives us all we need for our enjoyment.
- Let the message about Christ, in all its richness, fill your lives. Teach and counsel each other with all the wisdom he gives. Sing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs to God with thankful hearts.
- Take delight in the Lord,
and he will give you your heart’s desires. - How wonderful and pleasant it is
when brothers live together in harmony! - You are altogether beautiful, my darling,
beautiful in every way. - Always be joyful. Never stop praying. Be thankful in all circumstances, for this is God’s will for you who belong to Christ Jesus.
- Observe the requirements of the Lord your God, and follow all his ways. Keep the decrees, commands, regulations, and laws written in the Law of Moses so that you will be successful in all you do and wherever you go.
- The one thing I ask of the Lord—
the thing I seek most—
is to live in the house of the Lord all the days of my life,
delighting in the Lord’s perfections
and meditating in his Temple. - I have told you all this so that you may have peace in me. Here on earth you will have many trials and sorrows. But take heart, because I have overcome the world.
- Jesus told her, “I am the resurrection and the life. Anyone who believes in me will live, even after dying. Everyone who lives in me and believes in me will never ever die. Do you believe this, Martha?”

I will rejoice because you have rescued me.
I will sing to the Lord
because he is good to me. - But don’t rejoice because evil spirits obey you; rejoice because your names are registered in heaven.

- And while they were there, the time came for her baby to be born. She gave birth to her firstborn son. She wrapped him snugly in strips of cloth and laid him in a manger, because there was no lodging available for them.
- Taste and see that the Lord is good.
Oh, the joys of those who take refuge in him! - I pray that God, the source of hope, will fill you completely with joy and peace because you trust in him. Then you will overflow with confident hope through the power of the Holy Spirit.
- And this same God who takes care of me will supply all your needs from his glorious riches, which have been given to us in Christ Jesus.
- Whom have I in heaven but you?
