Chinese (traditional)Bible Verses about 'Instruction'
- Wisdom’s instruction is to fear the Lord,
and humility comes before honor. - The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge,
but fools despise wisdom and instruction. - Fathers, do not exasperate your children; instead, bring them up in the training and instruction of the Lord.
- Whoever gives heed to instruction prospers,
and blessed is the one who trusts in the Lord. - A fool spurns a parent’s discipline,
but whoever heeds correction shows prudence. - Whoever heeds discipline shows the way to life,
but whoever ignores correction leads others astray. - If anyone turns a deaf ear to my instruction,
even their prayers are detestable. - The Lord said to Moses, “Come up to me on the mountain and stay here, and I will give you the tablets of stone with the law and commandments I have written for their instruction.”
- Preach the word; be prepared in season and out of season; correct, rebuke and encourage—with great patience and careful instruction.
- Therefore let us move beyond the elementary teachings about Christ and be taken forward to maturity, not laying again the foundation of repentance from acts that lead to death, and of faith in God, instruction about cleansing rites, the laying on of hands, the resurrection of the dead, and eternal judgment.
- Whoever loves discipline loves knowledge,
but whoever hates correction is stupid. - For everything that was written in the past was written to teach us, so that through the endurance taught in the Scriptures and the encouragement they provide we might have hope.
- All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the servant of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.
- My son, keep your father’s command
and do not forsake your mother’s teaching. - Keep this Book of the Law always on your lips; meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do everything written in it. Then you will be prosperous and successful.
- But be very careful to keep the commandment and the law that Moses the servant of the Lord gave you: to love the Lord your God, to walk in obedience to him, to keep his commands, to hold fast to him and to serve him with all your heart and with all your soul.
- Observe what the Lord your God requires: Walk in obedience to him, and keep his decrees and commands, his laws and regulations, as written in the Law of Moses. Do this so that you may prosper in all you do and wherever you go.
- Blessed are those whose ways are blameless,
who walk according to the law of the Lord. - Great peace have those who love your law,
and nothing can make them stumble. - I will make your descendants as numerous as the stars in the sky and will give them all these lands, and through your offspring all nations on earth will be blessed, because Abraham obeyed me and did everything I required of him, keeping my commands, my decrees and my instructions.
- I desire to do your will, my God;
your law is within my heart. - The law of the Lord is perfect,
refreshing the soul.
The statutes of the Lord are trustworthy,
making wise the simple. - My son, pay attention to what I say;
turn your ear to my words.
Do not let them out of your sight,
keep them within your heart. - Keep his decrees and commands, which I am giving you today, so that it may go well with you and your children after you and that you may live long in the land the Lord your God gives you for all time.
Who is he, this King of glory?
The Lord Almighty—
he is the King of glory. About midnight Paul and Silas were praying and singing hymns to God, and the other prisoners were listening to them.Next verse!With image
