  • Keep thy heart with all diligence;
    for out of it are the issues of life.

  • And he took bread, and gave thanks, and brake it, and gave unto them, saying, This is my body which is given for you: this do in remembrance of me.
  • For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul?
  • And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.
  • It is an honour for a man to cease from strife:
    but every fool will be meddling.
  • Faithful is he that calleth you, who also will do it.
  • And he took the cup, and gave thanks, and gave it to them, saying, Drink ye all of it; For this is my blood of the new testament, which is shed for many for the remission of sins.
  • Charity suffereth long, and is kind; charity envieth not; charity vaunteth not itself, is not puffed up, Doth not behave itself unseemly, seeketh not her own, is not easily provoked, thinketh no evil.
  • When Jesus therefore had received the vinegar, he said, It is finished: and he bowed his head, and gave up the ghost.
  • Now no chastening for the present seemeth to be joyous, but grievous: nevertheless afterward it yieldeth the peaceable fruit of righteousness unto them which are exercised thereby.
  • Wilt thou set thine eyes upon that which is not?
    for riches certainly make themselves wings;
    they fly away as an eagle toward heaven.
  • I do set my bow in the cloud, and it shall be for a token of a covenant between me and the earth.
  • If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you.
  • Train up a child in the way he should go:
    and when he is old, he will not depart from it.
  • The entrance of thy words giveth light;
    it giveth understanding unto the simple.
  • Death and life are in the power of the tongue:
    and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof.
  • God is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent: hath he said, and shall he not do it? or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good?
  • Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.

Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house. Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.
