- A wholesome tongue is a tree of life,
But perverseness in it breaks the spirit. - Being confident of this very thing, that He who has begun a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ.
- What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin that grace may abound? Certainly not! How shall we who died to sin live any longer in it?
- For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God.
- And everyone who competes for the prize is temperate in all things. Now they do it to obtain a perishable crown, but we for an imperishable crown.

Hallowed be Your name.
Your kingdom come.
Your will be done
On earth as it is in heaven. - A man has joy by the answer of his mouth,
And a word spoken in due season, how good it is! - For which of you, intending to build a tower, does not sit down first and count the cost, whether he has enough to finish it?
- A fool vents all his feelings,
But a wise man holds them back. - For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God to salvation for everyone who believes, for the Jew first and also for the Greek.
- Therefore know this day, and consider it in your heart, that the Lord Himself is God in heaven above and on the earth beneath; there is no other.
- But as He who called you is holy, you also be holy in all your conduct, because it is written, “Be holy, for I am holy.”
- But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.
- And I have declared to them Your name, and will declare it, that the love with which You loved Me may be in them, and I in them.
- “If you will not hear,
And if you will not take it to heart,
To give glory to My name,”
Says the Lord of hosts,
“I will send a curse upon you,
And I will curse your blessings.
Yes, I have cursed them already,
Because you do not take it to heart.” - Nevertheless I tell you the truth. It is to your advantage that I go away; for if I do not go away, the Helper will not come to you; but if I depart, I will send Him to you.
- And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather expose them. For it is shameful even to speak of those things which are done by them in secret.
- For what profit is it to a man if he gains the whole world, and loses his own soul? Or what will a man give in exchange for his soul?
- I am the true vine, and My Father is the vinedresser. Every branch in Me that does not bear fruit He takes away; and every branch that bears fruit He prunes, that it may bear more fruit.
- Then the shepherds returned, glorifying and praising God for all the things that they had heard and seen, as it was told them.
