| If the world hates you, remember that it hated me first. | If the world hates you, know that it has hated me before it hated you. |
| But I will send you the Advocate—the Spirit of truth. He will come to you from the Father and will testify all about me. | But when the Helper comes, whom I will send to you from the Father, the Spirit of truth, who proceeds from the Father, he will bear witness about me. |
