Just (2/4)

  • Now I, Nebuchadnezzar, praise, exalt, and honor the King of heaven, for all His works are true and His ways just; and He is able to humble those who walk in pride.
  • And as for you, the anointing which you received from Him remains in you, and you have no need for anyone to teach you; but as His anointing teaches you about all things, and is true and is not a lie, and just as it has taught you, you remain in Him.
  • This is My commandment, that you love one another, just as I have loved you.
  • Behold, as for the impudent one,
    His soul is not right within him;
But the righteous one will live by his faith.
  • So you are to know in your heart that the Lord your God was disciplining you just as a man disciplines his son.
  • My son, do not reject the discipline of the Lord
    Or loathe His rebuke,
For whom the Lord loves He disciplines,
Just as a father disciplines the son in whom he delights.
  • Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable, if there is any excellence and if anything worthy of praise, think about these things.
  • For in it the righteousness of God is revealed from faith to faith; as it is written: “But the righteous one will live by faith.”
  • Bearing with one another, and forgiving each other, whoever has a complaint against anyone; just as the Lord forgave you, so must you do also.
  • Just as you do not know the path of the wind, and how bones are formed in the womb of the pregnant woman, so you do not know the activity of God who makes everything.
  • So Jesus said to them again, “Peace be to you; just as the Father has sent Me, I also send you.”
  • And the angel said to the women, “Do not be afraid; for I know that you are looking for Jesus who has been crucified. He is not here, for He has risen, just as He said. Come, see the place where He was lying.”
  • And walk in love, just as Christ also loved you and gave Himself up for us, an offering and a sacrifice to God as a fragrant aroma.
  • Just as a father has compassion on his children,
So the Lord has compassion on those who fear Him.
  • The tongue of the righteous is like choice silver,
The heart of the wicked is worth little.
  • In the same way, I tell you, there is joy in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner who repents.
  • For just as we have many parts in one body and all the body’s parts do not have the same function, so we, who are many, are one body in Christ, and individually parts of one another.
  • But we all, with unveiled faces, looking as in a mirror at the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as from the Lord, the Spirit.
  • To do righteousness and justice
Is preferred by the Lord more than sacrifice.
  • For a thousand years in Your sight
Are like yesterday when it passes by,
Or like a watch in the night.
  • For we do not have a high priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but One who has been tempted in all things just as we are, yet without sin.
  • For the Lord your God will have blessed you just as He has promised you, and you will lend to many nations, but you will not borrow; and you will rule over many nations, but they will not rule over you.
  • But when Jesus heard this, He responded to him, “Do not be afraid any longer; only believe, and she will be made well.”
  • But if the wicked person turns from all his sins which he has committed and keeps all My statutes and practices justice and righteousness, he shall certainly live; he shall not die.
  • Each one must do just as he has decided in his heart, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.

But like the Holy One who called you, be holy yourselves also in all your behavior; because it is written: “You shall be holy, for I am holy.”
