- Defend the poor and fatherless:
do justice to the afflicted and needy. - To do justice and judgment
is more acceptable to the Lord than sacrifice. - But let judgment run down as waters,

And he shall bring forth thy righteousness as the light,
and thy judgment as the noonday. - Open thy mouth, judge righteously,
and plead the cause of the poor and needy. - Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness:
for they shall be filled. - Good and upright is the Lord:
therefore will he teach sinners in the way.
The meek will he guide in judgment:
and the meek will he teach his way. - He hath shewed thee, O man, what is good;
and what doth the Lord require of thee,
but to do justly, and to love mercy,
and to walk humbly with thy God? - Wherefore now let the fear of the Lord be upon you; take heed and do it: for there is no iniquity with the Lord our God, nor respect of persons, nor taking of gifts.

But unto you that fear my name shall the Sun of righteousness arise with healing in his wings; and ye shall go forth, and grow up as calves of the stall.For what man knoweth the things of a man, save the spirit of man which is in him? even so the things of God knoweth no man, but the Spirit of God.
