He answereth and saith unto them, He that hath two coats, let him impart to him that hath none; and he that hath meat, let him do likewise.And he answered them, “Whoever has two tunics is to share with him who has none, and whoever has food is to do likewise.”
Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.Let us then with confidence draw near to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need.
But when thou doest alms, let not thy left hand know what thy right hand doeth: That thine alms may be in secret: and thy Father which seeth in secret himself shall reward thee openly.But when you give to the needy, do not let your left hand know what your right hand is doing, so that your giving may be in secret. And your Father who sees in secret will reward you.
But let your communication be, Yea, yea; Nay, nay: for whatsoever is more than these cometh of evil.Let what you say be simply ‘Yes’ or ‘No’; anything more than this comes from evil.
Wherefore, my beloved brethren, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath.Know this, my beloved brothers: let every person be quick to hear, slow to speak, slow to anger.
Cause me to hear thy lovingkindness in the morning; for in thee do I trust: cause me to know the way wherein I should walk; for I lift up my soul unto thee.Let me hear in the morning of your steadfast love, for in you I trust. Make me know the way I should go, for to you I lift up my soul.
Let the words of my mouth, and the meditation of my heart, be acceptable in thy sight, O Lord, my strength, and my redeemer.Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable in your sight, O Lord, my rock and my redeemer.
Is not this the fast that I have chosen? to loose the bands of wickedness, to undo the heavy burdens, and to let the oppressed go free, and that ye break every yoke?Is not this the fast that I choose: to loose the bonds of wickedness, to undo the straps of the yoke, to let the oppressed go free, and to break every yoke?
Let every one of us please his neighbour for his good to edification.Let each of us please his neighbor for his good, to build him up.
Teach me to do thy will; for thou art my God: thy spirit is good; lead me into the land of uprightness.Teach me to do your will, for you are my God! Let your good Spirit lead me on level ground!
But he that glorieth, let him glory in the Lord. For not he that commendeth himself is approved, but whom the Lord commendeth.“Let the one who boasts, boast in the Lord.” For it is not the one who commends himself who is approved, but the one whom the Lord commends.
If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask God, who gives generously to all without reproach, and it will be given him.
Having therefore these promises, dearly beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God.Since we have these promises, beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from every defilement of body and spirit, bringing holiness to completion in the fear of God.
He will not suffer thy foot to be moved: he that keepeth thee will not slumber.He will not let your foot be moved; he who keeps you will not slumber.
This is the day which the Lord hath made; we will rejoice and be glad in it.This is the day that the Lord has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it.
Marriage is honourable in all, and the bed undefiled: but whoremongers and adulterers God will judge.Let marriage be held in honor among all, and let the marriage bed be undefiled, for God will judge the sexually immoral and adulterous.

Withhold not thou thy tender mercies from me, O Lord: let thy lovingkindness and thy truth continually preserve me.As for you, O Lord, you will not restrain your mercy from me; your steadfast love and your faithfulness will ever preserve me!
Let every soul be subject unto the higher powers. For there is no power but of God: the powers that be are ordained of God.Let every person be subject to the governing authorities. For there is no authority except from God, and those that exist have been instituted by God.
Ponder the path of thy feet, and let all thy ways be established.Ponder the path of your feet; then all your ways will be sure.
Walk in wisdom toward them that are without, redeeming the time. One man esteemeth one day above another: another esteemeth every day alike. Let every man be fully persuaded in his own mind.One person esteems one day as better than another, while another esteems all days alike. Each one should be fully convinced in his own mind.
But Jesus said, Suffer little children, and forbid them not, to come unto me: for of such is the kingdom of heaven.But Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me and do not hinder them, for to such belongs the kingdom of heaven.”

My doctrine shall drop as the rain, my speech shall distil as the dew, as the small rain upon the tender herb, and as the showers upon the grass.May my teaching drop as the rain, my speech distill as the dew, like gentle rain upon the tender grass, and like showers upon the herb.
