Lord (3/4)

And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house. They answered, “Believe on the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved, you and your household.”
But the Lord is faithful, who shall stablish you, and keep you from evil. But the Lord is faithful; he will strengthen you and guard you from the evil one.
But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord. And all of us, with unveiled faces, seeing the glory of the Lord as though reflected in a mirror, are being transformed into the same image from one degree of glory to another; for this comes from the Lord, the Spirit.
Also unto thee, O Lord, belongeth mercy: for thou renderest to every man according to his work. And steadfast love belongs to you, O Lord. For you repay to all according to their work.
Except the Lord build the house, they labour in vain that build it: except the Lord keep the city, the watchman waketh but in vain.Unless the Lord builds the house, those who build it labor in vain. Unless the Lord guards the city, the guard keeps watch in vain.
For ye were sometimes darkness, but now are ye light in the Lord: walk as children of light. For once you were darkness, but now in the Lord you are light. Live as children of light.
Our help is in the name of the Lord, who made heaven and earth. Our help is in the name of the Lord, who made heaven and earth.

Arise, O Lord; O God, lift up thine hand: forget not the humble.Rise up, O Lord; O God, lift up your hand; do not forget the oppressed.
For who is God save the Lord? or who is a rock save our God?For who is God except the Lord? And who is a rock besides our God?
He which testifieth these things saith, Surely I come quickly. Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus. The one who testifies to these things says, “Surely I am coming soon.” Amen. Come, Lord Jesus!
Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord. Therefore, my beloved, be steadfast, immovable, always excelling in the work of the Lord, because you know that in the Lord your labor is not in vain.
Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord.Pursue peace with everyone, and the holiness without which no one will see the Lord.
And the Lord turned the captivity of Job, when he prayed for his friends: also the Lord gave Job twice as much as he had before. And the Lord restored the fortunes of Job when he had prayed for his friends; and the Lord gave Job twice as much as he had before.
Surely the Lord God will do nothing, but he revealeth his secret unto his servants the prophets.Surely the Lord God does nothing, without revealing his secret to his servants the prophets.
Blessed is every one that feareth the Lord; that walketh in his ways.Happy is everyone who fears the Lord, who walks in his ways.
For thou, Lord, art good, and ready to forgive; and plenteous in mercy unto all them that call upon thee. For you, O Lord, are good and forgiving, abounding in steadfast love to all who call on you.
Let thy mercy, O Lord, be upon us, according as we hope in thee.Let your steadfast love, O Lord, be upon us, even as we hope in you.
I wait for the Lord, my soul doth wait, and in his word do I hope.I wait for the Lord, my soul waits, and in his word I hope.
The Lord is on my side; I will not fear: what can man do unto me?With the Lord on my side I do not fear. What can mortals do to me?

When I said, My foot slippeth; thy mercy, O Lord, held me up.When I thought, “My foot is slipping,” your steadfast love, O Lord, held me up.
If I then, your Lord and Master, have washed your feet; ye also ought to wash one another's feet.So if I, your Lord and Teacher, have washed your feet, you also ought to wash one another's feet.
