- Thou shalt not take the name of the Lord thy God in vain: for the Lord will not hold him guiltless that taketh his name in vain.
- And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house.
- But the Lord is faithful, who shall stablish you, and keep you from evil.
- But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord.
- Also unto thee, O Lord, belongeth mercy:
for thou renderest to every man
according to his work. - Except the Lord build the house,
they labour in vain that build it:
except the Lord keep the city,
the watchman waketh but in vain. - For ye were sometimes darkness, but now are ye light in the Lord: walk as children of light.
- Our help is in the name of the Lord,
who made heaven and earth. - Deliver my soul, O Lord,
from lying lips,
and from a deceitful tongue. - Arise, O Lord; O God, lift up thine hand:
forget not the humble. - For who is God save the Lord?
or who is a rock save our God? - He which testifieth these things saith, Surely I come quickly. Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus.
- Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord.
- Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord.
- And the Lord turned the captivity of Job, when he prayed for his friends: also the Lord gave Job twice as much as he had before.
- Surely the Lord God will do nothing,
but he revealeth his secret
unto his servants the prophets. - Blessed is every one that feareth the Lord;
that walketh in his ways. - For thou, Lord, art good, and ready to forgive;
and plenteous in mercy unto all them that call upon thee. - Let thy mercy, O Lord, be upon us,
according as we hope in thee. - I wait for the Lord, my soul doth wait,
and in his word do I hope. - The Lord is on my side; I will not fear:
what can man do unto me? - Seek the Lord and his strength,
seek his face continually. - Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ.
- When I said, My foot slippeth;
thy mercy, O Lord, held me up. - If I then, your Lord and Master, have washed your feet; ye also ought to wash one another's feet.
For who is God, save the Lord?
and who is a rock, save our God?For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God; Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.Next verse!With image
