Lord (4/4)

This is the Lord’s message to Zerubbabel: Not by force, nor by strength, but by my Spirit, says the Lord of hosts. This is the word of the Lord unto Zerubbabel, saying, Not by might, nor by power, but by my spirit, saith the Lord of hosts.
Let us examine and test our ways and return to the Lord.Let us search and try our ways, and turn again to the Lord.
For who is God except the Lord? Who is a rock aside from our God?For who is God, save the Lord? and who is a rock, save our God?
A man may plan his own course, but the Lord makes his steps secure.A man's heart deviseth his way: but the Lord directeth his steps.
The Lord makes poor and makes rich, he humbles and he also exalts. The Lord maketh poor, and maketh rich: he bringeth low, and lifteth up.
I wait for the Lord in anxious expectation; I place my hope in his word.I wait for the Lord, my soul doth wait, and in his word do I hope.
But the Lord said to Samuel, “Do not consider his appearance or how tall he stands, for the Lord has rejected him. He does not see the way that men see, for men look on the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart.”But the Lord said unto Samuel, Look not on his countenance, or on the height of his stature; because I have refused him: for the Lord seeth not as man seeth; for man looketh on the outward appearance, but the Lord looketh on the heart.
For thus says the Lord to the house of Israel: If you seek me, you will survive. For thus saith the Lord unto the house of Israel, Seek ye me, and ye shall live.
But our citizenship is in heaven, and from there we await our Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ. For our conversation is in heaven; from whence also we look for the Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ.
With the Lord to protect me I am not afraid. What can mortals do to me?The Lord is on my side; I will not fear: what can man do unto me?
For whoever finds me finds life and receives favor from the Lord. For whoso findeth me findeth life, and shall obtain favour of the Lord.
O Lord, let your kindness rest upon us, for we have placed our hope in you.Let thy mercy, O Lord, be upon us, according as we hope in thee.
Bless the Lord, O my soul; my entire being, bless his holy name.Bless the Lord, O my soul: and all that is within me, bless his holy name.
Salvation comes from the Lord. May your blessing be upon your people. SelahSalvation belongeth unto the Lord: thy blessing is upon thy people. Selah.
You shall observe my commandments and obey them. I am the Lord. Therefore shall ye keep my commandments, and do them: I am the Lord.
The Lord is righteous in all his ways and merciful in everything he does. The Lord is righteous in all his ways, and holy in all his works.
It is better to take refuge in the Lord than to place your trust in mortals. It is better to trust in the Lord than to put confidence in man.
When I realized that my foot was slipping, your kindness, O Lord, raised me up.When I said, My foot slippeth; thy mercy, O Lord, held me up.
I sought the Lord, and he answered me; he set me free from all my fears.I sought the Lord, and he heard me, and delivered me from all my fears.
A word is not even on my tongue and you, O Lord, are completely aware of it.For there is not a word in my tongue, but, lo, O Lord, thou knowest it altogether.
The Lord will protect you against all evil; he will watch over your life. The Lord will watch over your coming and your going both now and forevermore. The Lord shall preserve thee from all evil: he shall preserve thy soul. The Lord shall preserve thy going out and thy coming in from this time forth, and even for evermore.
The Lord makes a man’s steps secure when he approves of his conduct. The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord: and he delighteth in his way.
When the command is given, at the sound of the archangel’s voice and the call of God’s trumpet, the Lord himself will descend from heaven, and those who have died in Christ will be the first to rise. Then those of us who are still alive and are left will be caught up together with them on clouds in the air to meet the Lord. And so, we will be with the Lord forever. For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.
You, O Lord, are light for my lamp; O my God, you make my darkness turn to light. For thou wilt light my candle: the Lord my God will enlighten my darkness.
God is faithful, and it is by him that you have been called into fellowship with his Son, Jesus Christ our Lord.God is faithful, by whom ye were called unto the fellowship of his Son Jesus Christ our Lord.
