But I say to you, Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you.But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you.
When I thought, “My foot is slipping,” your steadfast love, O Lord, held me up.When I said, My foot slippeth; thy mercy, O Lord, held me up.

We know love by this, that he laid down his life for us—and we ought to lay down our lives for one another.Hereby perceive we the love of God, because he laid down his life for us: and we ought to lay down our lives for the brethren.

But as for you, man of God, shun all this; pursue righteousness, godliness, faith, love, endurance, gentleness.But thou, O man of God, flee these things; and follow after righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, meekness.
