Bible Verses about 'Matthew 7:13'

Enter through the narrow gate; for the gate is wide and the way is broad that leads to destruction, and there are many who enter through it. For the gate is narrow and the way is constricted that leads to life, and there are few who find it.You can enter God’s Kingdom only through the narrow gate. The highway to hell is broad, and its gate is wide for the many who choose that way. But the gateway to life is very narrow and the road is difficult, and only a few ever find it.
Do not judge, so that you will not be judged.Do not judge others, and you will not be judged.
Why do you look at the speck that is in your brother’s eye, but do not notice the log that is in your own eye?And why worry about a speck in your friend’s eye when you have a log in your own?
Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you.Keep on asking, and you will receive what you ask for. Keep on seeking, and you will find. Keep on knocking, and the door will be opened to you.
In everything, therefore, treat people the same way you want them to treat you, for this is the Law and the Prophets.Do to others whatever you would like them to do to you. This is the essence of all that is taught in the law and the prophets.
Beware of the false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly are ravenous wolves.Beware of false prophets who come disguised as harmless sheep but are really vicious wolves.
Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but the one who does the will of My Father who is in heaven will enter. Not everyone who calls out to me, ‘Lord! Lord!’ will enter the Kingdom of Heaven. Only those who actually do the will of my Father in heaven will enter.
Therefore, everyone who hears these words of Mine, and acts on them, will be like a wise man who built his house on the rock.Anyone who listens to my teaching and follows it is wise, like a person who builds a house on solid rock.
But when Jesus heard this, He said, “It is not those who are healthy who need a physician, but those who are sick.”When Jesus heard this, he said, “Healthy people don’t need a doctor—sick people do.”
Now go and learn what this means: ‘I desire compassion, rather than sacrifice,’ for I did not come to call the righteous, but sinners. Then he added, “Now go and learn the meaning of this Scripture: ‘I want you to show mercy, not offer sacrifices.’ For I have come to call not those who think they are righteous, but those who know they are sinners.”
Heal the sick, raise the dead, cleanse those with leprosy, cast out demons. Freely you received, freely give.Heal the sick, raise the dead, cure those with leprosy, and cast out demons. Give as freely as you have received!
And do not be afraid of those who kill the body but are unable to kill the soul; but rather fear Him who is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.Don’t be afraid of those who want to kill your body; they cannot touch your soul. Fear only God, who can destroy both soul and body in hell.
Are two sparrows not sold for an assarion? And yet not one of them will fall to the ground apart from your Father. But even the hairs of your head are all counted. So do not fear; you are more valuable than a great number of sparrows. What is the price of two sparrows—one copper coin? But not a single sparrow can fall to the ground without your Father knowing it. And the very hairs on your head are all numbered. So don’t be afraid; you are more valuable to God than a whole flock of sparrows.
Do not think that I came to bring peace on the earth; I did not come to bring peace, but a sword.Don’t imagine that I came to bring peace to the earth! I came not to bring peace, but a sword.
And the one who does not take his cross and follow after Me is not worthy of Me.If you refuse to take up your cross and follow me, you are not worthy of being mine.
The one who has found his life will lose it, and the one who has lost his life on My account will find it.If you cling to your life, you will lose it; but if you give up your life for me, you will find it.
Come to Me, all who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Then Jesus said, “Come to me, all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest.”
Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For My yoke is comfortable, and My burden is light.Take my yoke upon you. Let me teach you, because I am humble and gentle at heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy to bear, and the burden I give you is light.

And whoever speaks a word against the Son of Man, it shall be forgiven him; but whoever speaks against the Holy Spirit, it shall not be forgiven him, either in this age or in the age to come.Anyone who speaks against the Son of Man can be forgiven, but anyone who speaks against the Holy Spirit will never be forgiven, either in this world or in the world to come.
But I tell you that for every careless word that people speak, they will give an account of it on the day of judgment. And I tell you this, you must give an account on judgment day for every idle word you speak.
And the one sown with seed among the thorns, this is the one who hears the word, and the anxiety of the world and the deceitfulness of wealth choke the word, and it becomes unfruitful. The seed that fell among the thorns represents those who hear God’s word, but all too quickly the message is crowded out by the worries of this life and the lure of wealth, so no fruit is produced.
He said to them, “But who do you yourselves say that I am?” Simon Peter answered, “You are the Christ, the Son of the living God.”Then he asked them, “But who do you say I am?” Simon Peter answered, “You are the Messiah, the Son of the living God.”
And I also say to you that you are Peter, and upon this rock I will build My church; and the gates of Hades will not overpower it.Now I say to you that you are Peter (which means ‘rock’), and upon this rock I will build my church, and all the powers of hell will not conquer it.

I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven; and whatever you bind on earth shall have been bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth shall have been loosed in heaven. And I will give you the keys of the Kingdom of Heaven.
