- Keep on doing the things that you have learned and received and heard and seen in me, and the God of peace will be with you.

- He called the crowd with his disciples, and said to them, “If any want to become my followers, let them deny themselves and take up their cross and follow me.”
- Call to me and I will answer you, and will tell you great and hidden things that you have not known.
- Jesus said to him, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.”
- Deep calls to deep
at the thunder of your cataracts;
all your waves and your billows
have gone over me. - If you abide in me, and my words abide in you, ask for whatever you wish, and it will be done for you.
- Bless the Lord, O my soul,
and all that is within me,
bless his holy name. - By day the Lord commands his steadfast love,
and at night his song is with me,
a prayer to the God of my life. - May I never boast of anything except the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, by which the world has been crucified to me, and I to the world.
- And let the one who believes in me drink. As the scripture has said, ‘Out of the believer's heart shall flow rivers of living water.’
- When I fed them, they were satisfied;
they were satisfied, and their heart was proud;
therefore they forgot me. - God, the Lord, is my strength;
he makes my feet like the feet of a deer,
and makes me tread upon the heights. - The Lord will fulfill his purpose for me;
your steadfast love, O Lord, endures forever.
Do not forsake the work of your hands. - I have set my bow in the clouds, and it shall be a sign of the covenant between me and the earth.
- Jesus said to him, “Have you believed because you have seen me? Blessed are those who have not seen and yet have come to believe.”
- Then I heard the voice of the Lord saying, “Whom shall I send, and who will go for us?” And I said, “Here am I; send me!”
