- For who is God except the Lord?
And who is a rock besides our God? - For who is God, but the Lord?
And who is a rock, except our God? - Now to him who by the power at work within us is able to accomplish abundantly far more than all we can ask or imagine, to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and ever. Amen.
- Beloved, let us love one another, because love is from God; everyone who loves is born of God and knows God.
- In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
- For nothing will be impossible with God.
- In God, whose word I praise,
in God I trust; I am not afraid;
what can flesh do to me? - For there is one God; there is also one mediator between God and humankind, Christ Jesus, himself human.
- But as for me, I will look to the Lord,
I will wait for the God of my salvation;
my God will hear me. - Protect me, O God, for in you I take refuge.
- If anyone destroys God's temple, God will destroy that person. For God's temple is holy, and you are that temple.
- No one has ever seen God; if we love one another, God lives in us, and his love is perfected in us.
- The sacrifice acceptable to God is a broken spirit;
a broken and contrite heart, O God, you will not despise. - Blessed are the pure in heart, for they will see God.
- Jesus looked at them and said, “For mortals it is impossible, but not for God; for God all things are possible.”
- For we are God's servants, working together; you are God's field, God's building.
- So God created humankind in his image,
in the image of God he created them;
male and female he created them. - Then God said, “Let there be light”; and there was light.
- And those who are in the flesh cannot please God.
- Know therefore that the Lord your God is God, the faithful God who maintains covenant loyalty with those who love him and keep his commandments, to a thousand generations.
- No one has ever seen God. It is God the only Son, who is close to the Father's heart, who has made him known.
- Yet I have been the Lord your God
ever since the land of Egypt;
you know no God but me,
and besides me there is no savior. - Our God is in the heavens;
he does whatever he pleases. - No one, when tempted, should say, “I am being tempted by God”; for God cannot be tempted by evil and he himself tempts no one.
- So then, a sabbath rest still remains for the people of God; for those who enter God's rest also cease from their labors as God did from his.
Do you not know that you are God's temple and that God's Spirit dwells in you?And let the one who believes in me drink. As the scripture has said, ‘Out of the believer's heart shall flow rivers of living water.’
