- Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.
- I say to the Lord, “You are my Lord;
apart from you I have no good thing.” - I will sing to the Lord all my life;
I will sing praise to my God as long as I live. - In the morning, Lord, you hear my voice;
in the morning I lay my requests before you
and wait expectantly. - When anxiety was great within me,
your consolation brought me joy. - When I am afraid, I put my trust in you.
- Out of the depths I cry to you, Lord;
Lord, hear my voice.
Let your ears be attentive
to my cry for mercy. - My lips will shout for joy
when I sing praise to you—
I whom you have delivered. - As the heavens are higher than the earth,
so are my ways higher than your ways
and my thoughts than your thoughts. - Now if you obey me fully and keep my covenant, then out of all nations you will be my treasured possession. Although the whole earth is mine.
- Have mercy on me, O God,
according to your unfailing love;
according to your great compassion
blot out my transgressions.
Wash away all my iniquity
and cleanse me from my sin. - I am the Lord your God; follow my decrees and be careful to keep my laws. Keep my Sabbaths holy, that they may be a sign between us. Then you will know that I am the Lord your God.
- As the deer pants for streams of water,
so my soul pants for you, my God. - Let my teaching fall like rain
and my words descend like dew,
like showers on new grass,
like abundant rain on tender plants. - If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land.
- To the one who is victorious, I will give the right to sit with me on my throne, just as I was victorious and sat down with my Father on his throne.
- My command is this: Love each other as I have loved you.
- Keep my commands and follow them. I am the Lord.
- But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me.
- I will make your descendants as numerous as the stars in the sky and will give them all these lands, and through your offspring all nations on earth will be blessed, because Abraham obeyed me and did everything I required of him, keeping my commands, my decrees and my instructions.
- You are altogether beautiful, my darling;
there is no flaw in you. - Jesus replied, “Anyone who loves me will obey my teaching. My Father will love them, and we will come to them and make our home with them.”
- I keep my eyes always on the Lord.
With him at my right hand, I will not be shaken. - I love the Lord, for he heard my voice;
he heard my cry for mercy.
Because he turned his ear to me,
I will call on him as long as I live. - Search me, God, and know my heart;
test me and know my anxious thoughts.
See if there is any offensive way in me,
and lead me in the way everlasting.
Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will never pass away.And we all, who with unveiled faces contemplate the Lord’s glory, are being transformed into his image with ever-increasing glory, which comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit. Though you have not seen him, you love him; and even though you do not see him now, you believe in him and are filled with an inexpressible and glorious joy, for you are receiving the end result of your faith, the salvation of your souls.Next verse!With image
