- I do not say this because I have been in need, for I have learned to be content with whatever I have.

So we too came to believe in Christ Jesus so that we might be justified by faith in him and not by the works of the Law, for no one will be justified by the works of the Law.
- Now an intermediary is not necessary when there is only one party, and God is one.
- If someone says, “I love God,”
but at the same time hates his brother,
he is a liar.
For whoever does not love the brother
whom he has seen
cannot love God whom he has not seen. - Welcome anyone whose faith is weak, but do not get into arguments about doubts.
- And the Lord God said, “It is not good for the man to be alone. I wish to make another creature who will be like him.”
- Or can a man walk on red-hot coals
without scorching his feet? - Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life;
whoever does not believe in the Son will not see life,
but the wrath of God rests upon him. - Jesus looked at them and said, “For men it is impossible, but not for God. For God all things are possible.”
- Fine words are not becoming to a fool,
and much less are false words to a noble. - Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified of them, for the Lord, your God, is going forth with you. He will never leave you or abandon you.
- For it has been granted you not only to believe in Christ but also to suffer for him.
- In the same way, the Son of Man did not come to be served but rather to serve and to give his life as a ransom for many.
- Do not withhold kindness from anyone to whom it is due
when it is in your power to grant it. - Do not let your hearts be troubled.
You place your trust in God.
Trust also in me. - Do not fear, for I am with you;
do not be afraid, for I am your God.
I will strengthen you and give you help,
I will uphold you with my victorious right hand. - In the same way, faith by itself is dead if it does not have works.
- But the Almighty we cannot find;
he is unequaled in power and judgment,
and in his righteousness he will not violate justice. - But if we hope for what we do not yet see, then we wait for it with patience.
