| Bring the tithes in full into the treasury so that there may be food in my house. | Can anyone withhold the water of baptism from these people who have received the Holy Spirit just as we have? | Can any man forbid water, that these should not be baptized, which have received the Holy Ghost as well as we? |
| If you heed the voice of the Lord, your God, and you carefully observe all of the commandments that I have given you today, then the Lord, your God, will lift you up above all the other nations upon the earth. | And it shall come to pass, if thou shalt hearken diligently unto the voice of the Lord thy God, to observe and to do all his commandments which I command thee this day, that the Lord thy God will set thee on high above all nations of the earth. |
| And thus we can have confidence in him that if we ask anything that is in accordance with his will, he hears us. | And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask any thing according to his will, he heareth us. |
