| Make sure that no one pays back evil for evil. Rather, always aim to achieve what is best for each other and for everyone. | See that no one pays back evil for evil, but always try to do good to each other and to all people. |
| No one who conceals his transgressions will prosper, but one who confesses and renounces them will obtain mercy. | People who conceal their sins will not prosper, but if they confess and turn from them, they will receive mercy. |

| Dear children, you are from God and you have conquered them, for the one who is in you is greater than the one who is in the world. | But you belong to God, my dear children. You have already won a victory over those people, because the Spirit who lives in you is greater than the spirit who lives in the world. |
