| But Scripture has locked up everything under the control of sin, so that what was promised, being given through faith in Jesus Christ, might be given to those who believe. | But the Scripture has confined all under sin, that the promise by faith in Jesus Christ might be given to those who believe. |

| Keep this Book of the Law always on your lips; meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do everything written in it. | And a highway will be there; it will be called the Way of Holiness; it will be for those who walk on that Way. | But the one who does not know and does things deserving punishment will be beaten with few blows. For everyone to whom much is given, from him much will be required; and to whom much has been committed, of him they will ask the more. |
