The Pharisees said to him, “Look, why are they doing what is unlawful on the Sabbath?” He answered, “Have you never read what David did when he and his companions were hungry and in need? In the days of Abiathar the high priest, he entered the house of God and ate the consecrated bread, which is lawful only for priests to eat. And he also gave some to his companions.” Then he said to them, “The Sabbath was made for man, not man for the Sabbath. So the Son of Man is Lord even of the Sabbath.”One sabbath he was going through the grainfields; and as they made their way his disciples began to pluck heads of grain. The Pharisees said to him, “Look, why are they doing what is not lawful on the sabbath?” And he said to them, “Have you never read what David did when he and his companions were hungry and in need of food? He entered the house of God, when Abiathar was high priest, and ate the bread of the Presence, which it is not lawful for any but the priests to eat, and he gave some to his companions.” Then he said to them, “The sabbath was made for humankind, and not humankind for the sabbath; so the Son of Man is lord even of the sabbath.”
God sets the lonely in families, he leads out the prisoners with singing; but the rebellious live in a sun-scorched land.God gives the desolate a home to live in; he leads out the prisoners to prosperity, but the rebellious live in a parched land.
Houses and wealth are inherited from parents, but a prudent wife is from the Lord.House and wealth are inherited from parents, but a prudent wife is from the Lord.

Therefore no one will be declared righteous in God’s sight by the works of the law; rather, through the law we become conscious of our sin.For “no human being will be justified in his sight” by deeds prescribed by the law, for through the law comes the knowledge of sin.
But Scripture has locked up everything under the control of sin, so that what was promised, being given through faith in Jesus Christ, might be given to those who believe.But the scripture has imprisoned all things under the power of sin, so that what was promised through faith in Jesus Christ might be given to those who believe.
Remember this: Whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows generously will also reap generously.The point is this: the one who sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and the one who sows bountifully will also reap bountifully.
Do not be afraid of those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. Rather, be afraid of the One who can destroy both soul and body in hell.Do not fear those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul; rather fear him who can destroy both soul and body in hell.
