- Turn you at my reproof:
behold, I will pour out my spirit unto you,
I will make known my words unto you. - But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God.

a broken and a contrite heart,
O God, thou wilt not despise. - A man's pride shall bring him low:
but honour shall uphold the humble in spirit. - And he that searcheth the hearts knoweth what is the mind of the Spirit, because he maketh intercession for the saints according to the will of God.
- Watch and pray, that ye enter not into temptation: the spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak.
- Until the spirit be poured upon us from on high,
and the wilderness be a fruitful field,
and the fruitful field be counted for a forest.
