Chinese (traditional)Bible Verses about 'Protection'
- With his feathers he will shelter you,
and you will take refuge under his wings;
his faithfulness serves as a protective shield. - The way of God is blameless,
and the Lord’s promise proves true;
he is a shield to all
who flee to him for safety. - Put on the armor of God so that you will be able to stand firm against the deceit of the devil.
- You are a place of refuge for me;
you preserve me from trouble
and surround me with songs of deliverance. Selah - God is our refuge and our strength,
a well-proved help in times of trouble. - Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified of them, for the Lord, your God, is going forth with you. He will never leave you or abandon you.
- No weapon used against you will prevail,
and you will refute every accusation
that is raised in court against you.
This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord,
their vindication from me, says the Lord. - Therefore, we can say with confidence:
“The Lord is my helper;
I will not be afraid.
What can anyone do to me?” - Every word of God has proved to be true;
he is a shield to those who trust in him. - You have given me the shield of your salvation;
your right hand sustains me,
and your goodness makes me great.
You broadened the path beneath me
so that my feet have never stumbled. - Protect me, O God,
for in you I take refuge. - The Lord will battle for you. Be calm!
- With the Lord to protect me I am not afraid.
What can mortals do to me? - You are my refuge and my shield;
I put my hope in your word. - I can do all things in him who strengthens me.
- Even when you reach old age
I will still be the same.
Even when your hair is gray,
I will still carry you.
I have made you and I will uphold you;
I will carry you and save you. - But I will sing of your strength;
when morning dawns, I will proclaim your kindness.
For you have been my fortress,
my refuge in times of trouble. - Guard your heart with all possible vigilance,
for from it flow the wellsprings of life. - What then can we say in response to all this? If God is for us, who can be against us?
- The way of God is blameless;
the Lord’s promise has proved true.
He is a shield to all
who take refuge in him. - But you, O Lord, are a shield to protect me;
you are my glory and the one who raises my head high. - I keep the Lord always before me,
for with him at my right hand
I will never fall. - Do you suppose that I cannot appeal to my Father for help and he will not immediately send me more than twelve legions of angels?
- It is better to take refuge in the Lord
than to place your trust in mortals. - The name of the Lord is a tower of strength;
the upright man runs to it and finds refuge.
For who is God except the Lord?
Who is a rock aside from our God?With all humility, gentleness, and patience, bearing with one another in a spirit of love. Do you not know that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit within you, whom you have received from God, and that you are not your own? You have been purchased at a price. Therefore, glorify God in your body.Next verse!With image
