Bible Verses about 'Romans 10-9'

If you openly declare that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.
For Christ has already accomplished the purpose for which the law was given. As a result, all who believe in him are made right with God.Christ is the culmination of the law so that there may be righteousness for everyone who believes.
For it is by believing in your heart that you are made right with God, and it is by openly declaring your faith that you are saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved.
As the Scriptures tell us, “Anyone who trusts in him will never be disgraced.”As Scripture says, “Anyone who believes in him will never be put to shame.”
For “Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.”For, “Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.”
So faith comes from hearing, that is, hearing the Good News about Christ.Consequently, faith comes from hearing the message, and the message is heard through the word about Christ.
Oh, how great are God’s riches and wisdom and knowledge! How impossible it is for us to understand his decisions and his ways!Oh, the depth of the riches of the wisdom and knowledge of God! How unsearchable his judgments, and his paths beyond tracing out!
For everything comes from him and exists by his power and is intended for his glory. All glory to him forever! Amen. For from him and through him and for him are all things. To him be the glory forever! Amen.
And so, dear brothers and sisters, I plead with you to give your bodies to God because of all he has done for you. Let them be a living and holy sacrifice—the kind he will find acceptable. This is truly the way to worship him. Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God—this is your true and proper worship.
Don’t copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Then you will learn to know God’s will for you, which is good and pleasing and perfect.Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.
Because of the privilege and authority God has given me, I give each of you this warning: Don’t think you are better than you really are. Be honest in your evaluation of yourselves, measuring yourselves by the faith God has given us.For by the grace given me I say to every one of you: Do not think of yourself more highly than you ought, but rather think of yourself with sober judgment, in accordance with the faith God has distributed to each of you.
Just as our bodies have many parts and each part has a special function, so it is with Christ’s body. We are many parts of one body, and we all belong to each other. For just as each of us has one body with many members, and these members do not all have the same function, so in Christ we, though many, form one body, and each member belongs to all the others.
Don’t just pretend to love others. Really love them. Hate what is wrong. Hold tightly to what is good.Love must be sincere. Hate what is evil; cling to what is good.
Love each other with genuine affection, and take delight in honoring each other.Be devoted to one another in love. Honor one another above yourselves.
Never be lazy, but work hard and serve the Lord enthusiastically.Never be lacking in zeal, but keep your spiritual fervor, serving the Lord.
Rejoice in our confident hope. Be patient in trouble, and keep on praying.Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer.
Bless those who persecute you. Don’t curse them; pray that God will bless them.Bless those who persecute you; bless and do not curse.
Be happy with those who are happy, and weep with those who weep.Rejoice with those who rejoice; mourn with those who mourn.
Live in harmony with each other. Don’t be too proud to enjoy the company of ordinary people. And don’t think you know it all!Live in harmony with one another. Do not be proud, but be willing to associate with people of low position. Do not be conceited.
Do all that you can to live in peace with everyone. If it is possible, as far as it depends on you, live at peace with everyone.
Dear friends, never take revenge. Leave that to the righteous anger of God. For the Scriptures say, “I will take revenge; I will pay them back,” says the Lord.Do not take revenge, my dear friends, but leave room for God’s wrath, for it is written: “It is mine to avenge; I will repay,” says the Lord.
Don’t let evil conquer you, but conquer evil by doing good.Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.
Everyone must submit to governing authorities. For all authority comes from God, and those in positions of authority have been placed there by God.Let everyone be subject to the governing authorities, for there is no authority except that which God has established. The authorities that exist have been established by God.
Pay your taxes, too, for these same reasons. For government workers need to be paid. They are serving God in what they do.This is also why you pay taxes, for the authorities are God’s servants, who give their full time to governing.
Give to everyone what you owe them: Pay your taxes and government fees to those who collect them, and give respect and honor to those who are in authority.Give to everyone what you owe them: If you owe taxes, pay taxes; if revenue, then revenue; if respect, then respect; if honor, then honor.

Owe nothing to anyone—except for your obligation to love one another. If you love your neighbor, you will fulfill the requirements of God’s law.Let no debt remain outstanding, except the continuing debt to love one another, for whoever loves others has fulfilled the law.
