Bible Verses about 'Scriptures that testify'
- For I delivered to you first of all that which I also received: that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, and that He was buried, and that He rose again the third day according to the Scriptures.
- For whatever things were written before were written for our learning, that we through the patience and comfort of the Scriptures might have hope.
- But when the Helper comes, whom I shall send to you from the Father, the Spirit of truth who proceeds from the Father, He will testify of Me.

- He who believes in Me, as the Scripture has said, out of his heart will flow rivers of living water.
- Therefore, having obtained help from God, to this day I stand, witnessing both to small and great, saying no other things than those which the prophets and Moses said would come— that the Christ would suffer, that He would be the first to rise from the dead, and would proclaim light to the Jewish people and to the Gentiles.
- For this reason a man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh.
- For it is written:
“As I live, says the Lord,
Every knee shall bow to Me,
And every tongue shall confess to God.” - Then the other disciple, who came to the tomb first, went in also; and he saw and believed. For as yet they did not know the Scripture, that He must rise again from the dead.
- But as He who called you is holy, you also be holy in all your conduct, because it is written, “Be holy, for I am holy.”
- Beloved, do not avenge yourselves, but rather give place to wrath; for it is written, “Vengeance is Mine, I will repay,” says the Lord.
- But as it is written:
“Eye has not seen, nor ear heard,
Nor have entered into the heart of man
The things which God has prepared for those who love Him.” - What is man that You are mindful of him,
And the son of man that You visit him? - But “he who glories, let him glory in the Lord.” For not he who commends himself is approved, but whom the Lord commends.
- For in it the righteousness of God is revealed from faith to faith; as it is written, “The just shall live by faith.”
- And if we know that He hears us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we have asked of Him.
- For there is nothing covered that will not be revealed, nor hidden that will not be known.
- Do you not know that you are the temple of God and that the Spirit of God dwells in you?
- These things I have spoken to you, that My joy may remain in you, and that your joy may be full.
- Judge not, that you be not judged.
- For
“He who would love life
And see good days,
Let him refrain his tongue from evil,
And his lips from speaking deceit.
Let him turn away from evil and do good;
Let him seek peace and pursue it.” - In this is love, not that we loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son to be the propitiation for our sins.
- Look to yourselves, that we do not lose those things we worked for, but that we may receive a full reward.
- You shall walk in all the ways which the Lord your God has commanded you, that you may live and that it may be well with you, and that you may prolong your days in the land which you shall possess.
- For I long to see you, that I may impart to you some spiritual gift, so that you may be established— that is, that I may be encouraged together with you by the mutual faith both of you and me.
- ‘You shall not murder,’ ‘You shall not commit adultery,’ ‘You shall not steal,’ ‘You shall not bear false witness,’ ‘Honor your father and your mother,’ and, ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’
- These things I have written to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, that you may know that you have eternal life, and that you may continue to believe in the name of the Son of God.
- But he who does the truth comes to the light, that his deeds may be clearly seen, that they have been done in God.
- For I know that my Redeemer lives,
And He shall stand at last on the earth. - And He answered and said to them, “Have you not read that He who made them at the beginning ‘made them male and female,’ and said, ‘For this reason a man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh’? So then, they are no longer two but one flesh. Therefore what God has joined together, let not man separate.”
- Now this is the confidence that we have in Him, that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us.
- I am the true vine, and My Father is the vinedresser. Every branch in Me that does not bear fruit He takes away; and every branch that bears fruit He prunes, that it may bear more fruit.
- Who is he who overcomes the world, but he who believes that Jesus is the Son of God?
- Knowing that the testing of your faith produces patience.
- Therefore concerning the eating of things offered to idols, we know that an idol is nothing in the world, and that there is no other God but one.
- You did not choose Me, but I chose you and appointed you that you should go and bear fruit, and that your fruit should remain, that whatever you ask the Father in My name He may give you.
- For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.
- Let everything that has breath praise the Lord.
Praise the Lord! - Let all that you do be done with love.
- And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
- And whatever you ask in My name, that I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son.
- That if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.
- Repent therefore and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, so that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord.
- That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.
- If the world hates you, you know that it hated Me before it hated you.
