Bible Verses about 'Scriptures that testify'

  • For I delivered to you first of all that which I also received: that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, and that He was buried, and that He rose again the third day according to the Scriptures.
  • For whatever things were written before were written for our learning, that we through the patience and comfort of the Scriptures might have hope.

  • And if we know that He hears us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we have asked of Him.
  • For there is nothing covered that will not be revealed, nor hidden that will not be known.
  • Do you not know that you are the temple of God and that the Spirit of God dwells in you?
  • These things I have spoken to you, that My joy may remain in you, and that your joy may be full.
  • Judge not, that you be not judged.
  • For
    “He who would love life
    And see good days,
    Let him refrain his tongue from evil,
    And his lips from speaking deceit.
    Let him turn away from evil and do good;
    Let him seek peace and pursue it.”
  • In this is love, not that we loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son to be the propitiation for our sins.
  • Look to yourselves, that we do not lose those things we worked for, but that we may receive a full reward.
  • You shall walk in all the ways which the Lord your God has commanded you, that you may live and that it may be well with you, and that you may prolong your days in the land which you shall possess.
  • For I long to see you, that I may impart to you some spiritual gift, so that you may be established— that is, that I may be encouraged together with you by the mutual faith both of you and me.

  • But he who does the truth comes to the light, that his deeds may be clearly seen, that they have been done in God.
  • For I know that my Redeemer lives,
    And He shall stand at last on the earth.
  • And He answered and said to them, “Have you not read that He who made them at the beginning ‘made them male and female,’ and said, ‘For this reason a man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh’? So then, they are no longer two but one flesh. Therefore what God has joined together, let not man separate.”
  • Now this is the confidence that we have in Him, that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us.

  • For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.

  • Let all that you do be done with love.
  • And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
  • And whatever you ask in My name, that I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son.
  • That if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.
  • Repent therefore and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, so that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord.
  • That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.
  • If the world hates you, you know that it hated Me before it hated you.
