  • For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures.
  • For whatsoever things were written aforetime were written for our learning, that we through patience and comfort of the scriptures might have hope.
  • But when the Comforter is come, whom I will send unto you from the Father, even the Spirit of truth, which proceedeth from the Father, he shall testify of me.

  • Dearly beloved, avenge not yourselves, but rather give place unto wrath: for it is written, Vengeance is mine; I will repay, saith the Lord.
  • But he that glorieth, let him glory in the Lord. For not he that commendeth himself is approved, but whom the Lord commendeth.
  • For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith.
  • What is man, that thou art mindful of him?
    and the son of man, that thou visitest him?
  • For he that will love life, and see good days, let him refrain his tongue from evil, and his lips that they speak no guile: Let him eschew evil, and do good; let him seek peace, and ensue it.
  • For there is nothing covered, that shall not be revealed; neither hid, that shall not be known.
  • Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you?
  • And if we know that he hear us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desired of him.
  • These things have I spoken unto you, that my joy might remain in you, and that your joy might be full.
  • Who is he that overcometh the world, but he that believeth that Jesus is the Son of God?
  • Thou shalt do no murder, Thou shalt not commit adultery, Thou shalt not steal, Thou shalt not bear false witness, Honour thy father and thy mother: and, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.
  • Judge not, that ye be not judged.
  • Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins.
  • Ye shall walk in all the ways which the Lord your God hath commanded you, that ye may live, and that it may be well with you, and that ye may prolong your days in the land which ye shall possess.
  • For I know that my redeemer liveth,
    and that he shall stand at the latter day upon the earth.
  • And he answered and said unto them, Have ye not read, that he which made them at the beginning made them male and female, And said, For this cause shall a man leave father and mother, and shall cleave to his wife: and they twain shall be one flesh? Wherefore they are no more twain, but one flesh. What therefore God hath joined together, let not man put asunder.
  • But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God.
  • Look to yourselves, that we lose not those things which we have wrought, but that we receive a full reward.
  • These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God.
  • For I long to see you, that I may impart unto you some spiritual gift, to the end ye may be established; That is, that I may be comforted together with you by the mutual faith both of you and me.
  • As concerning therefore the eating of those things that are offered in sacrifice unto idols, we know that an idol is nothing in the world, and that there is none other God but one.
  • But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.
  • I am the true vine, and my Father is the husbandman. Every branch in me that beareth not fruit he taketh away: and every branch that beareth fruit, he purgeth it, that it may bring forth more fruit.
  • And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask any thing according to his will, he heareth us.
  • Knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience.
  • For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
  • Let every thing that hath breath praise the Lord.
    Praise ye the Lord.
  • O taste and see that the Lord is good:
    blessed is the man that trusteth in him.
  • Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you.
  • Behold, I come quickly: hold that fast which thou hast, that no man take thy crown.
  • That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
  • If the world hate you, ye know that it hated me before it hated you.
  • And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
  • Let us labour therefore to enter into that rest, lest any man fall after the same example of unbelief.
