Bible Verses about 'Scriptures that testify'
- For I delivered to you as of first importance what I also received: that Christ died for our sins in accordance with the Scriptures, that he was buried, that he was raised on the third day in accordance with the Scriptures.

what God has prepared for those who love him” - What is man that you are mindful of him,
and the son of man that you care for him? - “Let the one who boasts, boast in the Lord.” For it is not the one who commends himself who is approved, but the one whom the Lord commends.
- Nothing is covered up that will not be revealed, or hidden that will not be known.
- For in it the righteousness of God is revealed from faith for faith, as it is written, “The righteous shall live by faith.”
- And if we know that he hears us in whatever we ask, we know that we have the requests that we have asked of him.
- Do you not know that you are God's temple and that God's Spirit dwells in you?
- You shall walk in all the way that the Lord your God has commanded you, that you may live, and that it may go well with you, and that you may live long in the land that you shall possess.
- These things I have spoken to you, that my joy may be in you, and that your joy may be full.
- Judge not, that you be not judged.
- For “Whoever desires to love life
and see good days,
let him keep his tongue from evil
and his lips from speaking deceit;
let him turn away from evil and do good;
let him seek peace and pursue it.” - In this is love, not that we have loved God but that he loved us and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins.
- Who is it that overcomes the world except the one who believes that Jesus is the Son of God?
- Set your minds on things that are above, not on things that are on earth.
- I write these things to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, that you may know that you have eternal life.
- You shall not murder, You shall not commit adultery, You shall not steal, You shall not bear false witness, Honor your father and mother, and, You shall love your neighbor as yourself.
- For I long to see you, that I may impart to you some spiritual gift to strengthen you— that is, that we may be mutually encouraged by each other's faith, both yours and mine.
- For I know that my Redeemer lives,
and at the last he will stand upon the earth. - But whoever does what is true comes to the light, so that it may be clearly seen that his works have been carried out in God.
- He answered, “Have you not read that he who created them from the beginning made them male and female, and said, ‘Therefore a man shall leave his father and his mother and hold fast to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh’? So they are no longer two but one flesh. What therefore God has joined together, let not man separate.”
- Let us therefore strive to enter that rest, so that no one may fall by the same sort of disobedience.
- Watch yourselves, so that you may not lose what we have worked for, but may win a full reward.
- And this is the confidence that we have toward him, that if we ask anything according to his will he hears us.
- I am the true vine, and my Father is the vinedresser. Every branch in me that does not bear fruit he takes away, and every branch that does bear fruit he prunes, that it may bear more fruit.
- Beloved, I pray that all may go well with you and that you may be in good health, as it goes well with your soul.
- Therefore, as to the eating of food offered to idols, we know that “an idol has no real existence,” and that “there is no God but one.”
- For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.
- God chose what is low and despised in the world, even things that are not, to bring to nothing things that are, so that no human being might boast in the presence of God.
- Let all that you do be done in love.
- Let everything that has breath praise the Lord!
Praise the Lord! - You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you that you should go and bear fruit and that your fruit should abide, so that whatever you ask the Father in my name, he may give it to you.
- For you know that the testing of your faith produces steadfastness.
- Because, if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.
- Repent therefore, and turn back, that your sins may be blotted out.
