Chinese (traditional)Bible Verses about 'Secure'
- The fear of man bringeth a snare:
but whoso putteth his trust in the Lord shall be safe. - The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord:
and he delighteth in his way. - A man's heart deviseth his way:
but the Lord directeth his steps. - He that walketh uprightly walketh surely:
but he that perverteth his ways shall be known. - I will both lay me down in peace, and sleep:
for thou, Lord, only makest me dwell in safety. - Trust in the Lord, and do good;
so shalt thou dwell in the land, and verily thou shalt be fed. - He that keepeth his mouth keepeth his life:
but he that openeth wide his lips shall have destruction. - And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.
- A talebearer revealeth secrets:
but he that is of a faithful spirit concealeth the matter. - For the customs of the people are vain: for one cutteth a tree out of the forest, the work of the hands of the workman, with the axe. They deck it with silver and with gold; they fasten it with nails and with hammers, that it move not. They are upright as the palm tree, but speak not: they must needs be borne, because they cannot go. Be not afraid of them; for they cannot do evil, neither also is it in them to do good.
- But thou, when thou prayest, enter into thy closet, and when thou hast shut thy door, pray to thy Father which is in secret; and thy Father which seeth in secret shall reward thee openly.
- But when thou doest alms, let not thy left hand know what thy right hand doeth: That thine alms may be in secret: and thy Father which seeth in secret himself shall reward thee openly.
- Surely the Lord God will do nothing,
but he revealeth his secret
unto his servants the prophets. - But thou, when thou fastest, anoint thine head, and wash thy face; That thou appear not unto men to fast, but unto thy Father which is in secret: and thy Father, which seeth in secret, shall reward thee openly.
- He revealeth the deep and secret things:
he knoweth what is in the darkness,
and the light dwelleth with him. - And the second is like, namely this, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. There is none other commandment greater than these.
- Can any hide himself in secret places that I shall not see him? saith the Lord. Do not I fill heaven and earth? saith the Lord.
- Envy thou not the oppressor,
and choose none of his ways.
For the froward is abomination to the Lord:
but his secret is with the righteous. - So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation.
- And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them. For it is a shame even to speak of those things which are done of them in secret.
- He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High
shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.
I will say of the Lord, He is my refuge and my fortress:
my God; in him will I trust. - Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years.
- Wherefore if they shall say unto you, Behold, he is in the desert; go not forth: behold, he is in the secret chambers; believe it not. For as the lightning cometh out of the east, and shineth even unto the west; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.
With all lowliness and meekness, with longsuffering, forbearing one another in love. Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock.Next verse! With image
