Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see.Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen.
Dear friends, now we are children of God, and what we will be has not yet been made known. But we know that when Christ appears, we shall be like him, for we shall see him as he is. All who have this hope in him purify themselves, just as he is pure.Beloved, we are God's children now; what we will be has not yet been revealed. What we do know is this: when he is revealed, we will be like him, for we will see him as he is. And all who have this hope in him purify themselves, just as he is pure.
Father, I want those you have given me to be with me where I am, and to see my glory, the glory you have given me because you loved me before the creation of the world.Father, I desire that those also, whom you have given me, may be with me where I am, to see my glory, which you have given me because you loved me before the foundation of the world.
Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.No one after lighting a lamp puts it under the bushel basket, but on the lampstand, and it gives light to all in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father in heaven.
You see, at just the right time, when we were still powerless, Christ died for the ungodly.For while we were still weak, at the right time Christ died for the ungodly.
But the Lord said to Samuel, “Do not consider his appearance or his height, for I have rejected him. The Lord does not look at the things people look at. People look at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart.”But the Lord said to Samuel, “Do not look on his appearance or on the height of his stature, because I have rejected him; for the Lord does not see as mortals see; they look on the outward appearance, but the Lord looks on the heart.”
However, each one of you also must love his wife as he loves himself, and the wife must respect her husband.Each of you, however, should love his wife as himself, and a wife should respect her husband.
See, the enemy is puffed up; his desires are not upright— but the righteous person will live by his faithfulness.Look at the proud! Their spirit is not right in them, but the righteous live by their faith.
Why do you look at the speck of sawdust in your brother’s eye and pay no attention to the plank in your own eye?Why do you see the speck in your neighbor's eye, but do not notice the log in your own eye?
See to it, brothers and sisters, that none of you has a sinful, unbelieving heart that turns away from the living God.Take care, brothers and sisters, that none of you may have an evil, unbelieving heart that turns away from the living God.
Can a mother forget the baby at her breast and have no compassion on the child she has borne? Though she may forget, I will not forget you! See, I have engraved you on the palms of my hands; your walls are ever before me.Can a woman forget her nursing child, or show no compassion for the child of her womb? Even these may forget, yet I will not forget you. See, I have inscribed you on the palms of my hands; your walls are continually before me.
As goods increase, so do those who consume them. And what benefit are they to the owners except to feast their eyes on them?When goods increase, those who eat them increase; and what gain has their owner but to see them with his eyes?
“Are you so dull?” he asked. “Don’t you see that nothing that enters a person from the outside can defile them? For it doesn’t go into their heart but into their stomach, and then out of the body.” (In saying this, Jesus declared all foods clean.)He said to them, “Then do you also fail to understand? Do you not see that whatever goes into a person from outside cannot defile, since it enters, not the heart but the stomach, and goes out into the sewer?” (Thus he declared all foods clean.)

Test me in this,” says the Lord Almighty, “and see if I will not throw open the floodgates of heaven and pour out so much blessing that there will not be room enough to store it.”Bring the full tithe into the storehouse, so that there may be food in my house, and thus put me to the test, says the Lord of hosts; see if I will not open the windows of heaven for you and pour down for you an overflowing blessing.

This is what the Lord says: “Stand at the crossroads and look; ask for the ancient paths, ask where the good way is, and walk in it, and you will find rest for your souls. But they said, “We will not walk in it.”
You will have these tassels to look at and so you will remember all the commands of the Lord, that you may obey them and not prostitute yourselves by chasing after the lusts of your own hearts and eyes.You have the fringe so that, when you see it, you will remember all the commandments of the Lord and do them, and not follow the lust of your own heart and your own eyes.
I revealed myself to those who did not ask for me; I was found by those who did not seek me. To a nation that did not call on my name, I said, ‘Here am I, here am I.’I was ready to be sought out by those who did not ask, to be found by those who did not seek me. I said, “Here I am, here I am,” to a nation that did not call on my name.
I am the Lord, the God of all mankind. Is anything too hard for me?See, I am the Lord, the God of all flesh; is anything too hard for me?
How good and pleasant it is when God’s people live together in unity!How very good and pleasant it is when kindred live together in unity!
Then God said, “I give you every seed-bearing plant on the face of the whole earth and every tree that has fruit with seed in it. They will be yours for food.”God said, “See, I have given you every plant yielding seed that is upon the face of all the earth, and every tree with seed in its fruit; you shall have them for food.”
Look, I am coming soon! My reward is with me, and I will give to each person according to what they have done.See, I am coming soon; my reward is with me, to repay according to everyone's work.

Do I take any pleasure in the death of the wicked? declares the Sovereign Lord. Rather, am I not pleased when they turn from their ways and live?Have I any pleasure in the death of the wicked, says the Lord God, and not rather that they should turn from their ways and live?
