But one who repeats a matter separates close friends. - Now faith is the certainty of things hoped for, a proof of things not seen.
- Pursue peace with all people, and the holiness without which no one will see the Lord.

He must seek peace and pursue it.” - And I will walk at liberty,
For I seek Your precepts. - And the shepherds went back, glorifying and praising God for all that they had heard and seen, just as had been told them.
- For which one of you, when he wants to build a tower, does not first sit down and calculate the cost, to see if he has enough to complete it?
- The one who believes in the Son has eternal life; but the one who does not obey the Son will not see life, but the wrath of God remains on him.
- Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, because many false prophets have gone out into the world.
- “Can a person hide himself in hiding places
So that I do not see him?” declares the Lord.
“Do I not fill the heavens and the earth?” declares the Lord. - For the moment, all discipline seems not to be pleasant, but painful; yet to those who have been trained by it, afterward it yields the peaceful fruit of righteousness.
- For you have been born again not of seed which is perishable, but imperishable, that is, through the living and enduring word of God.
- Nevertheless, as for you individually, each husband is to love his own wife the same as himself, and the wife must see to it that she respects her husband.
- As for the things you have learned and received and heard and seen in me, practice these things, and the God of peace will be with you.
- At night my soul longs for You,
Indeed, my spirit within me seeks You diligently;
For when the earth experiences Your judgments,
The inhabitants of the world learn righteousness. - Now no one lights a lamp and covers it over with a container, or puts it under a bed; but he puts it on a lampstand so that those who come in may see the light.
- Search me, God, and know my heart;
Put me to the test and know my anxious thoughts;
And see if there is any hurtful way in me,
And lead me in the everlasting way. - For the Son of Man has come to seek and to save that which was lost.
