- Wives, submit to your own husbands, as to the Lord. For the husband is the head of the wife even as Christ is the head of the church, his body, and is himself its Savior.

- To do righteousness and justice
is more acceptable to the Lord than sacrifice. - He who calls you is faithful; he will surely do it.
- Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come.
