See how very much our Father loves us, for he calls us his children, and that is what we are! But the people who belong to this world don’t recognize that we are God’s children because they don’t know him. 1 John 3:1	See what kind of love the Father has given to us, that we should be called children of God; and so we are. Dear brothers and sisters, if another believer is overcome by some sin, you who are godly should gently and humbly help that person back onto the right path. And be careful not to fall into the same temptation yourself. Galatians 6:1	Brothers, if anyone is caught in any transgression, you who are spiritual should restore him in a spirit of gentleness. Keep watch on yourself, lest you too be tempted. sin temptation desires

And I want women to be modest in their appearance. They should wear decent and appropriate clothing and not draw attention to themselves by the way they fix their hair or by wearing gold or pearls or expensive clothes. In the same way, some think one day is more holy than another day, while others think every day is alike. You should each be fully convinced that whichever day you choose is acceptable. Romans 14:5	One person esteems one day as better than another, while another esteems all days alike. Each one should be fully convinced in his own mind. obedience wisdom neighbor
And if you do good only to those who do good to you, why should you get credit? Even sinners do that much! Luke 6:33	And if you do good to those who do good to you, what benefit is that to you? For even sinners do the same. righteousness reward
Though a mighty army surrounds me, my heart will not be afraid. Even if I am attacked, I will remain confident. Psalm 27:3	Though an army encamp against me, my heart shall not fear; though war arise against me, yet I will be confident. fear heart trust
For this is how God loved the world: He gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life. God’s will is for you to be holy, so stay away from all sexual sin. Then each of you will control his own body and live in holiness and honor— not in lustful passion like the pagans who do not know God and his ways. 1 Thessalonians 4:3-5	For this is the will of God, your sanctification: that you abstain from sexual immorality; that each one of you know how to control his own body in holiness and honor, not in the passion of lust like the Gentiles who do not know God. holiness sexuality body
Well then, should we keep on sinning so that God can show us more and more of his wonderful grace? Of course not! Since we have died to sin, how can we continue to live in it? Romans 6:1-2	What shall we say then? Are we to continue in sin that grace may abound? By no means! How can we who died to sin still live in it? sin grace life
I praise God for what he has promised. I trust in God, so why should I be afraid? What can mere mortals do to me? Psalm 56:4	In God, whose word I praise, in God I trust; I shall not be afraid. What can flesh do to me? trust fear Word of God
So again I say, each man must love his wife as he loves himself, and the wife must respect her husband. Ephesians 5:33	However, let each one of you love his wife as himself, and let the wife see that she respects her husband. marriage relationships
Don’t be concerned about the outward beauty of fancy hairstyles, expensive jewelry, or beautiful clothes. You should clothe yourselves instead with the beauty that comes from within, the unfading beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is so precious to God. 1 Peter 3:3-4	Do not let your adorning be external—the braiding of hair and the putting on of gold jewelry, or the clothing you wear— but let your adorning be the hidden person of the heart with the imperishable beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which in God's sight is very precious. humility beauty heart
Believers who are poor have something to boast about, for God has honored them. And those who are rich should boast that God has humbled them. They will fade away like a little flower in the field. James 1:9-10	Let the lowly brother boast in his exaltation, and the rich in his humiliation, because like a flower of the grass he will pass away. pride humility money
Therefore, whenever we have the opportunity, we should do good to everyone—especially to those in the family of faith. Galatians 6:10	So then, as we have opportunity, let us do good to everyone, and especially to those who are of the household of faith. gentleness neighbor goodness
Then I heard the Lord asking, “Whom should I send as a messenger to this people? Who will go for us?” I said, “Here I am. Send me.” Isaiah 6:8	And I heard the voice of the Lord saying, “Whom shall I send, and who will go for us?” Then I said, “Here I am! Send me.” prophecy evangelism speaking

Finally, all of you should be of one mind. Sympathize with each other. Love each other as brothers and sisters. Be tenderhearted, and keep a humble attitude. 1 Peter 3:8	Finally, all of you, have unity of mind, sympathy, brotherly love, a tender heart, and a humble mind. humility community neighbor
For the grace of God has been revealed, bringing salvation to all people. And we are instructed to turn from godless living and sinful pleasures. We should live in this evil world with wisdom, righteousness, and devotion to God. Titus 2:11-12	For the grace of God has appeared, bringing salvation for all people, training us to renounce ungodliness and worldly passions, and to live self-controlled, upright, and godly lives in the present age. grace righteousness salvation
Then Peter came to him and asked, “Lord, how often should I forgive someone who sins against me? And the Holy Spirit helps us in our weakness. For example, we don’t know what God wants us to pray for. But the Holy Spirit prays for us with groanings that cannot be expressed in words. Romans 8:26	Likewise the Spirit helps us in our weakness. Paul said, “John’s baptism called for repentance from sin. For we are God’s masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things he planned for us long ago. Ephesians 2:10	For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them. creation Jesus following

Teach those who are rich in this world not to be proud and not to trust in their money, which is so unreliable. Their trust should be in God, who richly gives us all we need for our enjoyment.

As for the rich in this present age, charge them not to be haughty, nor to set their hopes on the uncertainty of riches, but on God, who richly provides us with everything to enjoy.
