- Make your ways known to me, O Lord;
teach me your paths. - He will not permit your foot to stumble;

and forgives the transgressions

You will not allow your anger to fester forever,
for your delight is in bestowing mercy. - During the day the Lord grants his kindness,

a prayer to the living God. - Let the word of Christ with all its richness dwell in you. Teach and admonish one another in all wisdom, singing psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs to God with gratitude in your hearts.

but rejoices in the truth.
Love bears all things,
believes all things,
hopes all things,
endures all things. - Keep falsehood and lying far from me;
give me neither poverty nor riches,

See if I follow an evil way,
and guide me on the way to eternity. - Amen, amen, I say to you,
whoever receives the one I send
receives me,
and whoever receives me
receives the one who sent me. - And anyone who does not take up his cross and follow me is not worthy of me.
- If anyone wishes to serve me,
he must follow me.
Where I am,
there also will my servant be.
If anyone serves me,
my Father will honor that person. - Father, allow those you have given me
to be with me where I am,
so that they may behold my glory,
which you have bestowed on me
because you loved me
before the foundation of the world. - You are a place of refuge for me;
you preserve me from trouble
and surround me with songs of deliverance. Selah - When you call out to me and come forth and pray to me, I will listen to you.
- With the Lord to protect me I am not afraid.
What can mortals do to me? - You have given me the shield of your salvation;
your right hand sustains me,
and your goodness makes me great.
You broadened the path beneath me
so that my feet have never stumbled. - If you love me,
you will keep my commandments. - And you will say on that day:
Give thanks to the Lord,
invoke his name;
make known his deeds among the nations;
proclaim that his name is exalted. - Set me as a seal on your heart,
as a seal upon your arm.
For love is as strong as death,
and ardor is as relentless as the netherworld.
Its flames are flashes of fire,
an unending blaze. - In you, O Lord, I have taken refuge;
let me never be put to shame;
in your righteousness deliver me. - Guide me in your truth and instruct me,
for you are God, my Savior,
and in you I hope all the day long.
