I ate no choice food; no meat or wine touched my lips; and I used no lotions at all until the three weeks were over.I did not eat any tasty food, nor did meat or wine enter my mouth, nor did I use any ointment at all until the entire three weeks were completed.
Who is a God like you, who pardons sin and forgives the transgression of the remnant of his inheritance? You do not stay angry forever but delight to show mercy.Who is a God like You, who pardons wrongdoing And passes over a rebellious act of the remnant of His possession? He does not retain His anger forever, Because He delights in mercy.
Keep me safe, my God, for in you I take refuge.Protect me, God, for I take refuge in You.
But as for me, I watch in hope for the Lord, I wait for God my Savior; my God will hear me.But as for me, I will be on the watch for the Lord; I will wait for the God of my salvation. My God will hear me.
You make your saving help my shield, and your right hand sustains me; your help has made me great. This is what the Lord says to Israel: “Seek me and live.”For this is what the Lord says to the house of Israel: “Seek Me so that you may live.”
For the eyes of the Lord are on the righteous and his ears are attentive to their prayer, but the face of the Lord is against those who do evil.For the eyes of the Lord are toward the righteous, And His ears attend to their prayer, But the face of the Lord is against evildoers.
You call me ‘Teacher’ and ‘Lord,’ and rightly so, for that is what I am.You call Me ‘Teacher’ and ‘Lord’; and you are correct, for so I am.
